1st thing to know, Federal reserve bank, isn't government branch, it's a private business, it's doesn't have money reserve cause the print the money and it's not a bank, this video is more confusing than educating, me too I've stated my journey on financial education recently, so I would like to suggest a book am reading, conspiracy of the rich by Robert kiyosaki, you can find all hes books online on an app called Robert kiyosaki, best of the luck my dear

The banking situation is a reminder that Fed hikes are having an effect, even if the economy has held up so far,” It’s precisely at times like these that investors need to be on guard against the next certainty. First SVB, then signature bank and now first republic bank, these are all the signs of yet another 2008 market crash 2.0

My main concern now is how can we generate more revenue during quantitative times? I can't afford to see my savings crumble to dust. Sincerely it's best to seek an advisor right now, unless you're canny yourself. As a business owner in both the service industry and eBay reseller of all product categories, I can tell you we’re in a deep recession and everyone is running out of money.

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.Read more

Sometime I feel the 'economy' is some kind of perpetual Ponzi scheme. We need the endless growth to service the endless debt. But maybe it's a good thing. It keeps us innovating, progressing...

What Now It’s not. Remember Milton Friedman‘s famous quote. Using artificially low interest rates to stimulate aggregate demand is like using a candy bar to increase your energy. For a while the sugar might give you a boost of energy, but if you eat nothing but candy bars, then all you’re left with is fat. In other words, this system of inflating the money supply is unsustainable. It only has the illusion of stability because inflation rates have been low and people do not expect much future inflation, so inflation is slow for now. But make no mistake, the imbalance in the economy will eventually cause a collapse sooner or later.

You cant grow forever in a world of finite resources. Theres an end eventually. And the faster you grow, the faster you drain that finite nature. The end only comes ever more faster.

@@rootsgrassusa oohh i wasnt aware the earth had an infinite amount of matter at its disposal. I.e: timber, ore, rare earth minerals, noble gases... By all means lets scoop it all up and make an infinite number of cars and planes. Because matter on earth is infinite.... What an idiot

Why/how does selling/buying treasury bills affect the interest rate? That's not clear to me at all.
@rexford_garbrah6 жыл бұрын
DEMAND AND SUPPLY. Eg. When the central bank buys treasury bills, it gives cash/money in exchange for the bills. In so doing, it increases the monetary base(the sum of bank reserves and currency in circulation) because the receiving bank now has an increase in reserves. Demand and Supply are inversely related hence as this increase in funds increases the amount of money available to SUPPLY in the economy; it also leads to a relative decrease in the DEMAND for funds (more funds chasing the same amount of borrowers) and therefore the exchange rate adjusts accordingly until equilibrium is reached. Hope I helped. (Was difficult simplifying as much as possible, pardon me.) .......P. S. It's the opposite when the central bank SELLS treasury bills.

The federal reserve gets to charge interest on money it lends without creating the money to pay the interest. Perpetual debt that you can never ever pay off.

Every time a bank issues a loan it is added to the money supply. Any bank can do that.

Is the Federal Reserve sustainable? 1996-2008: GDP ↑45%, Monetary Base ↑46% 2008-2020: GDP ↑32%, Monetary Base ↑600% Prior to 2008, the Monetary Base and the GDP were 98% correlated reflecting the reciprocal relationship of money and economic expansion. Can the current rate of monetary expansion without corresponding GDP growth continue without consequence? *Bloomberg sued The Federal Reserve in 2011 and uncovered a $7.7T secret bank bailout not represented here.

It seems ironic that because one owes money on a credit card that they can be sued in court since the Federal Reserve created in 1913 is a private company not located in America and that is not part of the United States Government or even follows the laws of the United States of America but yet they print trillions of worthless paper dollars that are backed up by nothing of any value. Credit card/ Banks companies are basically loan sharking predators that charge 29.9 % interest on American currency that is totally worthless. These bank owned credit card companies are taking this worthless fake paper money and turn around and are buying gold with it- which is worth a lot of money. Also they are taking real assets like your home equity and putting families out in the street. Now you could say people paid for their mortgages with fake money but that is not true--people traded real work, hard labor, Hours of their precious time only to be paid in worthless paper. Is there a crime being committed by people or is the crime being committed by the Banks and Federal Reserve? Basically the Federal Reserve is running a illegal Ponzi Scheme and they and the banks are working in collusion to defraud honest working Americans trying to take care of their families. I have already lost one home in 2008 and now they are trying to steal the second home which my mother left me.
