Is there a plate between the rotors (sperating the rotors)? Wondering why rotors spin the opposite direction of new holland and deeres twin rotor combines.

Yipe it’s the same concept as the Versatile 2000 pull type combines that came out in the mid 80s. I worked on many of them. John Deere and Class use the same concept. If only the 2000 were built a bit better they really could of had something!
