The life and sacrifice of Longjanglepzuk in Christ was not in vain. In fact, it paved the way for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Naga Hills. These stories need to be told and reminded every now and then.

How come nine villages had to unite against one village? Were they united to avenge Longjang village? How come konyaks could travel thus far, traversed many villages without getting any harm from other villages??? How do they even know a warrior turned Christian have reached his village? Or some people do not want once a warrior/blood thrist to be the first one to lead for peace?? Why Whiteman advised him to marry Assamese girl, foreseen the situation??? My understanding on our Head hunting days-- just a tool to suppressed every one. Even today our thinking process remain the same. Why dont we simply unite, dig a great hole, create naga made hell, and jump into it???

Yes, Hexong was the 1st Naga Christian however Lt. Longjanglepzuk was the 1st Naga Christian from Nagas of Nagaland
