Echoes of Evolution

Күн бұрын

The evolutionary journey of how plants transitioned from water to land. We'll also discuss bryophytes, the most primitive lineage of plants alive today, which might somewhat resemble these early terrestrial pioneers.

I studied this on my second year of ecology in uni in a course where we studied algae and land plants (with the exception of angiosperms which had their own course) and you explain it in a much better way than professors. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much! That must have been a wonderful study :) Angiosperms deserve at least two videos in this series about the evolutionary history of plants, so hopefully I can complement the angiosperm course you did with my future videos.

@@EchoesofEvolution My pleasure! I see that you are a biology and geology student. Where do you attend university? Are you pursuing a Masters or PhD? Where do you live? Thanks again!

@@roccov1972 I’m currently studying biology at the University of Amsterdam (where I’m based), and I’m also working on a minor in geology/paleontology at the University of Utrecht. I’d love to pursue a masters in paleobiology and maybe even a PhD in that field.
