It's been a very long time Sam. Hope you've been doing well. Anyway I hear you. So so much great content was totally cut & rushed in regards to the final episodes. They could do a Film maybe a OVA short but spin the attributing factors to construct the premise to set forth said events. It's not something they couldn't do though I don't see there being any chance of it ever happening. Sadly I don't have any high hopes for Season 3 if the same director is behind the project which is rather sad. The other sad factor is all these delays in regards to the novels which doesn't have me none to happy. All I can continue doing is purchasing the novel & manga content alongside playing Memoria Freese (the App game) for any & all content creation.

The Pleasure quarter arc was as much Mikoto's story as it was Haruhime and Bell's if not more.... but they focused mainly on Bell. That was one of the more disappointing parts of the anime version in my mind

I particularly don’t like that they omitted so much of Bell’s fight with Hycanthos. Hycanthos was tattered and beat up after the Argo Fire Bolt. Then there’s a pause. Hycanthos looks into the dust. Sees Bells Crimson eyes. They both shout and charge at each other. (I especially liked the audience reaction when they engage) After which Bell and him exchanged blows for quite a bit and Hycanthos was getting beaten about. Then Bell cut his Sword in a particular way. Blocks with his two blades crossed on Hycanthos downward swing, catching the blade and slicing it off. (Also Bell didn’t have Hestia Blade cuz it was being used as colateral to God Sohma to free Lily, Welf made him a new Blade from the rest of the Minotaur Horn, even stronger than the other red Blade) After which Hycanthos took out his extra sword, stabbed the ground to raise dust to get away and started his chanting. Bell shot him with a fire bolt. He tanked it and was a bloody mess and no shirt but kept chanting. Bell was gonna shoot again but Daphne interferes. He misses fire bolt. Lily comes in pushes her away. Hycanthos shoots his magic. Bell fire bolts. The magics clash. Hycanthos magic outdoes firebolt. Bell tries to avoid. He can’t. Gets hit. Hycanthos tries to stab Bell a few times. Bell barely avoids. Finally Bell kicks his sword away and finishes Hycanthos off with a hard ass punch that sends Hycanthos flying and rolling on the ground 30 feet completely KO’ed. THAT IS THE FIGHT. You’re welcome. 😊

I know why. The moment the season ended and we got to see a clip of Wiene as a teaser I figured it out. Someone had the audacity to approve 2 seasons ahead of time and they wanted the 3rd to be Wiene's arc. which meant they had to rush the War Game and Red Light District Arc in order to catch up. They also skipped out on an entire book of the hestia family side character's development which is a HUGE mistake on their part. I was shocked they just did nothing with it.

Ishtar was rushed a bit, but I'm just glad they didn't rush through it even more and try to also break into the Xenos arc. Honestly I wasn't expecting too much from the arcs that were up based on the arcs themselves. The author was deliberately avoiding dungeon crawling over these 2 arcs, which pushed the story into a lot of inner monologues when anime's always always always seem to skip over.

My hypothesis is that Syr is another god as you cannot lie to a god or Syr. She also shares other similarities with them iirc. But Syr and Freja don't seem to have the same height (could be the camera/image angle). Just like her "soul vision", Freja charms everyone, god or mortal, just by being there, while Syr doesn't. If Freja could suppress that, she would be using arcanum which is forbidden. Finally, Syr passes most of her time at the tavern; she lives there. As for Freja, she spends most of her time at the top of Babel because she isn't annoyed by all the charmed gods and mortals (and she gets a wonderful view on all the souls). I would argue that Ottar rarely leaves Freja's side, and never in public, Mia Grande is his predessor so he could leave her to Mia. p.s: Syr was with Bell at the tavern while Freja was near the colosseum during Monsterphelia

Welf has to confront his father about magic weapons and begins his personal romance with Hesphasitos. Mikoto is in love with her past god. Finn proposes to Lily but she rejects him eventually. I disliked how they changed everything about Rakia's war against Orario, made Ares seems more idiot than he is while cut every non-Bell/Hestia character arc of Volume 8 and changed some of the dialog of "A God love" that Bell had with Miach and HERMES. And cut one history that have a major efect in the Xenos arc, the Armored Barbarian and the Children of the Church. To me Season 2 should have ended with the Rescue of Haruhime (Volume 7) while Season 3 should start with Volume 8 and gone the entirely of Xenos arc

In norse mythology, syr is a woman who resembles freya in appearance. Syr asked freya for a wish that she wanted to be as beautiful as her. Even though in the anime the Hestia Knife was used (mentioned at 14:40), it wasn't in the LN, unsure if you've mentioned this in previous videos but just to let Anime only's know, the Hestia Knife was used as collateral to pay Soma to get Lili to join the Hestia Familia. Also, all of Bells stats at the end of level ONE, not level two were all SS+. Here is to hoping that the side stories for each character will be adapted next season.

Mia Grande (or Mama Mia) is the ex-captain but still a member of the Freja familia as is stated in Episode Lyu's final chapter of the Benevolent tavern/hostess of fertility and 6th chapter of the Grand Casino. Freja could easily pass the grimoire and the amulet through her so that Syr would give them to Bell. Syr is also shown as to be quite a good deceiver throughout episode Lyu, she could easily manipulate Bell into using these gifts. TL;DR : Freja -> Mia (or Ahnya, but unlikely) -> Syr

They explained it clearly in season 1. Lot more info in the Light Novels Basic abilities strength, agility, dexterity, magic and endurance. I0 - S999. Bell is the only one that has exceeded 999 going all the way up to 1400+SSS Requirements for leveling up is at least one ability at D but need to complete an incredible feat the gods cant ignore. Your level is basically the strength of your soul. They explain it like a container. Easier to fill the higher your basic abilities are from your prior level up. Very rare to have multiple S abilities. Gareth has 2 at level 6. Bell bypasses it by getting them all to S, SS, SSS which allows him to defeat higher level people. Every time you level up your strength, speed, magic, 5 senses and your lifespan increase

Highest level warrior is level 7 Ottar. In the freya familia with 4 other level 6s Loki familia has 7 level 6s including Ais. Bell in novel 15 is getting close to level 5. He levels up extremely fast. Everybody else takes years to level up. Also other rare abilities like dive, pummel, immunity, bulwark, and bell has Luck. Than you have the skills and magic

This is true. In Greek mythology, Apollo fell in love with a mortal with Cassandra, and gave her the ability to see the future. She made prophecies with her future sight and all of them came true. It was not until she turned Apollo down that he cursed her by making it to where nobody believed her prophecies, but all of them would come true.

Well if hestias familia was a familia, theyre more of a gang than a familia. The actual "war game" started with the "apollo" familia attacking just me. They got fucked up but then Freya made it an offial war game type thing i guess. Still me vs them though. It was fun.

A theory I have even thought it might not be likely. Syr is fraya just saying haven’t seen them in same place. Also syr said in season 1 that she saw bells fight with the silverback and fraya was watching that fight so just saying

Never been fully explored in the novels, but yeah, the two are uncommonly closely linked. I don't know if it is a Syr=Freya, or if Syr is just an avatar of hers. But the whole damn bar is pretty much stomping grounds for Freya's influence (Mama Mia for instance used to be an adventurer in that familia) Honestly I wonder why Loki likes the place so much

If anyone is curious... After Apollo lost, as promised he had to leave Orario. Some of his followers went along with him breaking the rule of leaving Orario (It's known that it's easy to enter but really hard to get out), along those members Hyacinthus was one of them. The rest who stayed at Orario went to other familias, others grieved over not knowing what to do and as for Luan... Well he's still alive... We might know more of him in another cut content someday.

I still like all season 2 except the last episode but I do acknowledge they cut a shit ton out from the books. Industry problem forcing 5 books into season 1 and the 3 largest books into season 2. Need longer than 13 episodes a season

Syrr is a former member of freeya familia. Anya the cat-demi human is still currently a member for freeya familia. Anya is also the little sister of lv6 vice captain of Freya familia the one who attack Ais in season 1 and killed welf enemy from ishtar familia. Anya growth is as fast like his brother but she can't handle individual ranking quota inside the familia (level, growth, and fight to rank them on the same level) She left but she still has the blessing of freeya familia and still a member. Syrr on the other hand is no longer a member previously like bell freeya really likes syrr but she begged to the goddess to release her (remove the blood oath or contract) and freeya granted it. This time freeya is so obsessed with bell but unlike syrr.. freeya won't allow him to leave when he joined the familia and will do anything even tainting the pure soul that she saw and love with bell.. Freeya fall for bell due to the pureness of his soul, unlike the other gods freeya breaks the rule to use arcanu but limit her ability to Charm & magical mirror that's why she can observe bell whenever she want even inside the dungeon. Ishtar also uses her charm most of the time.. But hestia temporarily release her godly power's to stop the adventurers who wants to harm bell. Goddess and gods becomes mortal but un-aging after they seal their powers but hestia release her arcanum at that time that's why the fight stop and adventurers give respect to hestia the point is there's no way for a mortal to kill a god when they release their powers. That's why Ishtar & freeya is shocked when they found out their charm doesn't work on bell LOL. After the expedition in the dungeon it will be bell at level 5 and freeya will make a move to get him.. it will also be reveal about syrr background.
