I grew up and lived in Orpington until 2007. This brought back some amazing memories. Lingfields sweet shop was amazing. I used to get a lot my video games from Chips. They were a great bunch of lads.

A fantastic trip down memory lane. I lived near the top of Broomhill Road from 1982 to 2012. Spent far too much time in the bar at The Cricketers next door to the Common. :>) A few yards to the left of Lingfield's in Broomhill Road is the Old Forge Garage where I had my cars serviced and MOT'd. It's still there today. My son still resides in Orpington so I have seen most of the changes that have taken place over the ensuing decade.

@10:20 - You can see the computer leisure centre - at 12 years old (1994) I used to work there and get free play on their arcades and play all the newest games. John, the owner, was such a lovely guy. Man this brings back memories.
