They won’t let the Pacers win this series they made that obvious important players will be in foul trouble next game … have to go insane from 3 to win… have to win by 12 to win by 4

Yeah I could tell from the way the pacers were already in the bonus midway thru the 4th quarter. Man if all you take outta the game is the refs and that’s your main focus you’re just a crybaby loser

When TY came to the Pacers I thought he was to passive for a max contract then he surprised me more than any other player I’ve ever watched with his awesome aggressive play… it was beyond surprising to watch a NBA player who does not have a deep bag and is not good going left cook… I think it’s a combination of a lot of things but a pg that can’t go left very well in the nba is puzzling. His game is predicated on making advantage because of the pull up 3 and deep three until that comes back or he expands his game he will be limited

I don't think the shot is gone, the aggression is gone. The mindset is gone. The ice in his veins is gone. That's what he needs back.

Yeah, that Nesmith dunk was NASTY! 😂 I'm pretty sure it was off a phenomenal block by Jackson as well. I only rewind that 5x live.

The knicks are very Brunson (extremely) centered....we should make Brunson play defense and make it less obvious 4 him 2 be an offensive monster.....The pacers have a great shot 2 make it 2 the conf finals. Even with a the 1-0

You put Nembhard or McConnell on Brunson all game. Nesmith of they're both off the court for some reason.

Nembhard is too short to bother Brunson's vision and shot. But Nesmith is too foul prone to expect him to guard Brunson for long stretches. They aren't going to stop Brunson playing one on one. So the strategy the Pacers used in game one is their best option. They just cant let the other guys beat them. Knicks probably won't shoot that well again and if the Pacers are better at limiting offensive rebounds, they can win even if Brunson goes for 40+.

Agreed even if he goes 0 of 15. I need our star to shoot. If we lose because Hali is injured and can't give 100% but he tries I can accept that.

I think Hali not being aggressive is likely mostly due to him playing injured. Props to him for wanting to b out there, but I think his back is a factor whether he consciously knows it or not. Even if it feels serviceable, having had it lock up on him just days before he may subconsciously have been hesitant to attack for fear it could spasm again. Hopefully he's feeling better today

to limit Brunson, don't foul him. recognize that he gets touch foul calls and make him hit shots.

The Pacers controlled most of the game. Im not shaken yet. But this is their first time in the Playoffs….they dont have the experience to put an opponent down.

@@maddhatt7082i keep hearing this narrative and if they are still in striking distance to win with him being just a facilitator, I dont think he needs to get 35 to win. Doesnt he need to get more than 6 …? yes but 15-17 with 10+ assists is a pretty good look. In the end he needs to make the Knicks defense honest without being a nut.

No one is mentioning Mitchell Robinson's injury. The Knicks can play McBride and Achiuwa but will they go deeper? I think it became the Pacers series to lose.

Pacers are not using #Pascal #Siakam skills set properly especially with Hali challenges he can help. He has played with Championship PG, he has played PG at times, play make, drive with aggression. Instead he is reduced to a role player instead of a player that can use his gravity properly. I don't know if they need an off-season to get the team comfortable with what he can do if he re-signs.. It’s just a shame because at full strength the pacers aren’t even close to being in the same class with the Knicks! Unfortunately the basketball gods hate the Knicks so they’re falling apart as now Robinson is done for and he joins Randle and Bogdanovic. The pacers better win this series or they should be ashamed of themselves. Count yourselves lucky, you were able to face the bucks without their big dogs and now the Knicks who are decimated by injuries. There should be an asterisk next to any victories y’all get

You say stay off and don’t help on Brunson and let him, “cook”. He still did drop 40 and got the other involved and going, I think the pacers can’t defend Brunson and the Knicks

We have defenders who can make him less effective. We aren't shutting him down completely.

I think the Pacers need to be more intentional about attacking Brunson and defense. Burn him out. And then run run run. Also Hali and Turner just need to be better. I would throw Siakam in there as well. They are arguably our 3 best players and I don't feel their presence out there most of the time.
