Rhonda proves that it's never too late. I just noticed that she's 75. So, when The Secret came out in 2006 she was 61! Very inspiring! [I'm adding this 4 months later. It appears there's some discrepancy on her exact age, & I've gotten a *lot* of negative feedback on this. My point, however remains the same. Notes from Rhonda Byrne: - Breathe in prosperity during walks, say I am prosperity, I am abundant, I am worthy - Hang notes of affirmation around your home (i.e. "I'm abundant" until you don't feel the body contract - Practice gratitude and listen to good music then when you feel no body contraction and no thoughts objecting after an affirmation sit down to go through your bills: any form of mail that is a bill requiring payment see it as a cheque paid to you. Add zeros to it to make it a larger figure paid to you. - To feel good about money start giving some away. You could walk down the street and ask the universe to show you who to give it to - List all of the things you're going to buy as if you already have them - The Secret to Money app has a lot of practices in it - Imagine paying all the families of those people who wrote that bill to you, Imagine providing for all the companies that service that bill company, how you paying for your bill helps them get food on their table (to feel good about money) - Imagine putting your arms around a negative feeling as if it were a baby, welcome it and it will intensify for a second and then evaporate. If it comes back it won't be as strong anymore - If someone is blowing up at you you will know that it's not personal and you can feel ok and say to them "you know what I think you're right" - Self doubt and feelings of unworthiness can be removed by gratitude and also love. We are not the mind - The quieter the mind gets the more order you want in your life because chaos in the mind expresses itself with chaos in your surroundings - Focus on what you want and not on what you don't want - Who you are is deathless, infinite being, pure love, beauty - There is no death. I watched "The Secret" back in 2006, which sparked a 3-year reading frenzy of about 2 books a week. Books fell into my path wherever I went and I soaked it up! I took notes and did the exercises and when it was suggested to create a vision board I made quite a few. I lost time and danced in my chair to music while creating these collages. @@starrcompany3275 I feel like her teachings are so true. Your thoughts literally become what happens. Usually when I think of something I want, I align myself of what I want in my mind and it works. Thats how I manifested my raises at work and also my life of going to concerts and seeing every artist I wanted to see. I think it doesn't mean that bad things can happen like death, accidents. But thinking positively and imagining in your mind works. The book helps to remove self doubt. I also recently watched the film that stars Katie Holmes which I recommend, you can see how the teachings play out

There are many modalities out there that works to change your core beliefs at the subconscious level (only a few works like laser). Such as Psych-K, Three Dimensional Therapy, Clear your beliefs by Lion Goodman etc. More information is on Bruce Lipton's website :)

That's so true about how your negative feelings evaporate when you stop resisting them. I did that too. I would imagine them like a little child that just needed to be heard and accepted and I showed compassion and listening and allowing to my negative feelings. And just like she said, they would continue for just a couple of seconds and then disappear. I imagined them flowing over me like a wave in the ocean and then they would be gone. It's pretty wild how your emotions flow like energy when you stop resisting them. It's kind of beautiful actually.
