I don't care if it came from some positive aspect of a subset culture, it's a shitty dance that requires very little talent. It's like the people who dance at electronica music shows. There are so many elements such as the cat walk, arm and hand movements, the duck walk (which requires insane leg strength), floor work and so much more. Not only does it require physical strength it thrives on creativity. If you think that this is worthless, you lack the intelligence and creativity to see that this is an important art of self expression.

I do reason it all out. And Vox provides enough evidence before it even dares to make a claim.The bottomline is, you won't get a media outlet which is as open as this is on everything. They're real people, and I feel like I personally know them. The fact I'm trying to establish is, amidst all of the paranoia about news outlets, I'd like to offer them my unconditional support. I have enough faith in them to know they won't make a claim without it being true.
@joshuajohn88707 жыл бұрын
I have the opposite view. The only way to keep new outlets like Vox unbiased is to be extremely critical of it. If everybody gave them the unconditional support like you did they will quickly regress into appealing to the emotions of audiences to get view instead of having well-reasoned videos. There's nothing wrong with supporting a media outlet, but giving "unconditional" support is one of the most dangerous things you can do.
@vineethchennabhoina37987 жыл бұрын
Dude. Seriously. Read what I wrote. "And Vox provides enough evidence before it even dares to make a claim." When Vox starts making stuff up from thin air, I'll think about it, but it never did. What? Appealing to my emotions to get my view? I'm not opinionated. The collective audience over here has a million different views, how are you going to appease all of these views? It's easier to tell the truth, and that's exactly what they're doing, and will continue to do. So, it's out of question they'll turn rogue. I'm not deluded to think that Fox is the right source for my daily fix of news.

Sophie Jones exactly my point love is love is valid in this context for a community of beings who support each other and have a passion for VOUGEING. Mother Earth would've been such a better place if we all stood by each other and accepted the fact that it's fine to be different.
@melissayes31617 жыл бұрын
EvilTom, it's strange how you almost advocated for pedophilia in your second to last comment. Perhaps it may be from generalizing too much. I'm interested in what research you've done on the topics you've mentioned but I would rather you emailed me than continued in this section of the comments. Not that being less educated or exposed to something makes you less valid, but forming an educated point of reference can help to make real progress in a conversation as opposed to running in circles and making irrelevant comments, of which there are non here. I'm interested in understanding where you are coming from, in a non-personal sense. I suppose what I'm asking for is a definition of the term "Natural" and how it related to "Mother Nature". Which definitions do you abide by and should they be at all? I'm team Mother Nature Can Fight Me because she's literally a pain in my butt but I love her, nonetheless, and I love my friends. Does your definition include all things organic and that can be developed, or are you actively against that? Because sex changes aren't just a choice for people, in a similar way that sexuality isn't a choice. This discourse can also lead into questions surrounding identity, which is a fun but sometimes difficult place to traverse, even if one is prepared.

Lmao the Homophobia is real. Str8 men are in the comments acting like they've never seen vogueing before when tons of pop stars have been using vogueing choreography since the 80s. Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Madonna, Lady Gaga, all of them use Vogueing in some way on the regular so don't act like you don't understand. You understand very well. We understand each other. You have a problem with the gays. Point blank.
@LibertyForAll-l3q7 жыл бұрын
There is little hate going on and you´re overreacting because frankly even if someone has seen someone vogueing doesnt mean they remembers it as if the person was vogueing. Just because someone is against it doesnt mean they are homophobic either.
@joshuajohn88707 жыл бұрын
Not everybody listens to pop stars like the ones you mentioned, so it is completely understandable why someone might state that they have never heard of vogueing before.

Shady Tyrell Hey, what's up, I'm a straight white male and I never heard of voguing. Do you care to explain how that makes me a homophobe or is this a mindless insult?
@weaponizedmemes34617 жыл бұрын
Shady Tyrell, LOL you criticize straight men for not know what voguing is and then try to demonstrate how common it is by citing performances of female pop stars. How on earth would the average man know that what they see on an Ariana Grande music video is 'voguing' at its roots? Do you think many straight men attend Lady Gaga concerts? Probably not. Just because people aren't sure what it is doesn't mean they're homophobic. I saw the video in my subscriptions page and thought "What is voguing?" and I clicked on the video to find out. Simple. No hatred. No homophobia, just curiosity. People like you are the reason there are divisions between 'different groups' of people. Most people just want to exists and treat everyone fairly, but people like you want to term EVERYTHING into an us-vs-them issue.

Voguing is so amazing and technical. I want to be part of it but my size has made me anxious about dancing again. I’ve done hip hop, tap, and jazz at an already high weight. I’ve gained more since then :( Hoping I can add vogue to the list in this lifetime.

I like that philosophy, "let's stop the war, we should just throw a shade.". Imagine Donald Trump/Biden, Xi Jin Ping, Putin and Kim Jong Un Voguing in ballroom dance to solve their problems. What a beautiful world we live in.

Thank you for correcting my image of the history of this type of dance! I didn't know any better, and I have a lot of friends in the LGBT+ community, so I want to learn about their history and help them feel safe and supported around me. What people need to know about Voguing is that it releases an aura of energy no one else can understand. Voguing is different for everyone in its uniqueness.
