Talk to the elder? It's never that easy. You have to follow him from one side of the city to the other, and his walking speed is faster than your walking but slower than your running speed. Also, after you reach your destination, it turns out one of the guards forgot to bring The Ancient Pendant from the castle, which was in point A. You have to go back to where you came from and bring it to the elder, and then, ONLY THEN, will he tell you that you need to slay 5 Cows, 8 Pigs, 15 Sheep and 20 Rabbits of each color to test your might. After you slay each animal, you are then gifted 50 coins to use the shop, you don't get to keep any of the materials you purchase. And after ALL of that, you still have to walk with the elder back to the castle.

From a story writing perspective, I love the ending. It's such a subtle knife in the side of filmmakers and screen writers for over explaining a situation or having characters vocally express their INTERNAL conflict. So Caleb using that habit of "telling, not showing" for comedic effect is such an elegant critique.

@@darkscorpionomega Because it is (almost) a Witcher mission, except it was a goat you had to lead home instead of a sheep. And for me, the goat kept either getting stuck on trees/rocks or would walk a few paces then turn around and go right back where it started, refusing to follow the stupid whistle.
