The most impressive thing about LeBron’s playoff run is that he’s doing it against real athletes. Not bartenders & cow farmers like MJ did.

We only missed the playoffs that year(1997) because our superstar in David Robinson and 2nd best player Sean Elliot missed most of the season, before that we hadnt missed the playofffs since like 1990 of something lol

Man you needed to win 50 games to make the playoffs in the Western Conference in 2010, man I miss those days....
@ihatejasonfu
@ihatejasonfu 6 жыл бұрын
Needed to win 43 (or potentially 42 with tie breakers) seeing how the 9th seed rockets in 2010 had 42 wins (assuming the 9th seed don't gain some of the extra wins that the 500-win 8th seed sheds going down to 43 in this scenario). It's just that 8th seed okc got 50 wins, but they didn't need it to be in 8th seed.

2000s was the best era period. Games: Halo 3, MW2, Gears of war 2, Jak & Daxter, Rachet & Clank, Nba live, NFL 2k (people forget that 2k made football games too). The whole NBA was more competitive, and I didn't even get to tv shows or rappers. I'm not a 2000s baby btw

Shmoken Pankehk He put up arguably the greatest 3.5 qtrs in NBA history, he was outstanding. Too bad he passed up a GW opportunity with Steph on him and instead put the game in the hands of George Hill and in turn Smith. It backfired but they still had OT where he was 0-4 2pts with 1 board and 0 ass. It’s not his fault his teammates choked but let’s not pretend Bron didn’t choke in OT.

Go ahead and do some research on who Jordan played against, players were shredded then too, Karl Malone was a monster, same with Alonzo Mourning go ahead and watch tape. Obviously players evolve and now everyone is in peak condition but that's literally every sport in history so I'm not sure what your point is, its just plain ignorance.

The game changed alot since then. Most of the talent condensing to top 4 or 5 teams. All championship caliber juggernauts in the making. Only because a team like the warriors exist. Who cares if 50 win teams were 8th seeds when the top 5 teams in future can easily destroy the teams of old. Look at philly Boston and lakers. Only 1 or 2 stars away from being a warrior caliber team.

Most of the people watching this vid were like 8 years old in this time period. Not really a long time ago, but in terms of NBS seasons and careers I swear it has been eons. This is back when we were slowly starting to realize Carmelo Anthony didn’t even belong in the same convo as LBJ

The good old days when NBA basketball was more physical and competitive. Mid range jump shots, post up bigs, inside scoring, tenacious defense, just grown man shit! Back when Kobe Bryant was the best player in the world! When the Lakers were on top! When more than 4 teams in the playoffs were actually considered favorites to win the title every year. Now we live in the world where the nba salary cap is too high, and these players aren’t even playing their money’s worth. Such a disgrace!

Vrixiz This shows your NBA knowledge. 1. Nice job dodging the question. 2. Neither LeBron or KD where traded, they signed with the Heat/Warriors. 3. I never compared what LeBron did to KD, but that doesn’t excuse him for leveling his basketball, and literal home to go ring chasing. 4. If your over the age of 13, you would at least have some grasp of how low that move was. Go back to watching your Jacksepticeye youngster

Remember after Shaq left and before they got Gasol we got to see Kobe lead a team with minimal talent around him. It was mainly him, Odom, and Fisher. During those 3 seasons, Kobe and the Lakers failed to make the playoffs once and lost in the first round twice. One of those first round losses was to the Suns where Amare did not play for the entire seires. That's right- the Lakers lost to the Suns without Amare in a 7 games series yet Kobe got no flack for that. It was only after they got Gasol that they made it past the first round. Kobe also gets no flack for taking games off like he did in the game 6 loss in the 2008 NBA finals that gave Boston the title. (7 of 22 shooting, 22 points 3 rebounds 1 assist). No one mentioned a word about Kobe quiting in that game. Kobe Finals with Shaq up to 2003 Shaq=36 PPG, 15.4 RPG, 3.7 APG, 3 BPG, 209/351 60% FG, Double coverage Kobe=20 PPG, 6 RPG, 4.6 APG, 1 BPG, 113/266 42% FG, Single coverage 2004 (5 game loss to Detroit) Shaq= 27 PPG, 11 RPG, 2 APG, .6 BPG, 53/84 63% FG Kobe=22 PPG, 3 RPG, 4 APG, .6 BPG, 43/113 38% FG 2008 without Shaq Kobe= 25 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 5 APG, .16 BPG, 53/131 40% FG 2009 Kobe= 32 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 7.4 APG, 58/135, 42% FG 2010 Kobe= 28 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 3.9 APG, 0.7 BPG, 40% FG Seriously, Kobe has performed HORRIBLY in the finals. He can barely crack 40% shooting, even with Shaq drawing double coverages earlier in his career. He quit against boston, and the year they won (2010?) he had an ABYSMAL game 7, and got bailed out by his teammates. Keep shooting Kobe... keep shooting.
