I can say this work is as rich as the resources in developing countries. The mental models I believe that have been built in this work as regards economic diversification is copacetic and can influence policy making positively. This is a 'most-read' material as an answer of hope for Nigerians ability to position it's economy for post-oil future in the era of climate change and this model can be implicated on any system globally. Thank you for the effort put on this vision Zainab, looking forward to reading this rich resource.

Great topic, great video. I wonder: How about ECOWAS? Nigeria assumes chairmanship of the regional organization but it does not look like Africa's economic powerhouse has any plan that could help promote the industrialization of the entire region. Could ECOWAS be part of Nigeria's post-oil future? Does NIgeria need ECOWAS? Nigeria hosts the headquarters of ECOWAS, but regional integration is not on the agenda of Nigerian leaders, president Tinubu included. I suggest that a game changer would be for Nigeria to launch a regional industrialization program focused on the automotive industry. Both Nigeria and the entire West African region would benefit.

Brilliant interrogation of the intersection between politics and policy making. Shattered some “dominant” thinking on approaches to development in Nigeria. Development is not a dash, fit or fury; it is a marathon that you must prepare for. The argument for updating current thinking/approaches to current development challenges is incontrovertible. Highly recommend to policy makers, law-makers and especially those who teach public policy.

I like the way you use simple way to narrate the story and it’s pretty clear. It needs greater publicity and sharing. kudos Zainab I feel the passion in your narrative. Share same passion will like to work on this with you.
