Pardons by politicians need to be gotten rid of. The only people that should be forgiven their sentences are those proven (ie: The Innocence Files) INNOCENT!!

Pardoning him is Abbott sending a clear message that he will pardon any future right-wingers acting as death squads against the citizenry. Nothing could be more authoritarian and dangerous than granting a convicted murderer a pardon.

There's a reason why we have trials and courts and juries juries of his own peers found him guilty he has a right to appeal and he should but just because Abbott don't like the outcome doesn't give him the right to change it let the justice system work
