I want to know why that one predator that fought Yakuza in the previous movie seemed honorable. He used a single blade, and despite being given a few chances, he could have killed Yakuza when his back hit the ground. He could have used a plasma blaster, a disk, a spear, you name it

Thing is he didn't have disc,shoulder cannon,or a spear on him. Other than thrust blade and that spy bird, all would take is single stab to the chest in cold blood. If it does transpire in sequels, I highly doubt that it will take place on Yautja prime; The followers of Scarab Predator's beliefs have been exiled from the planet. Which could explain the difference in size, strength and ferocity. It is highly possible (And likely.) That where they settled had a different atmosphere. Perhaps it was heavier and made up of different chemical elements. The wild life, such as the River Ghost, may have led them to create more advanced weaponry and up the ante on their fighting prowess. Just a thought. 😊

Like Hive Wars Predator? At least that’s what they called the figure Neca made. His story is cool: stranded on a xenomorph planet he was forced to rig up whatever he could scavenge to make weapons and survived for a long time (he might have finally gotten picked up by his clan, I forget)

Luciphell I rather like the concept myself. It mirrors how species work in nature, like how there are different races of people, but we're the same species. What is it that you dislike about them, specifically? I'm actually curious, mabu people say they hate it, but don't explain why.

I just do not like the effect it has had on the movie series. Selfish and personal opinion. Simple as that. The more we learn about the Yautja as a race, the more easily we classify it, take away it's mystery, the more it starts resembling a pest to be dealt with, than a technologically superior trophy hunter/monster that should be respected and feared. Not turned into the joke it has become. I like the idea in other forms of media, but I'm annoyed with how it's bled into the movies.

Luciphell I get that. I think film is especially guilty of that, particularly when the upgrade easily kill the fugitive. That was the only reason they had a somewhat classic predict in the film. Say what one will about Predator 3, that film respected the classic. Even exhausted, he put up a hell of a fight before he died.

Luciphell Personally, I feel that the yautja can be explored In a way that the xenomorphs cant. The Alien needs to be mysterious. inhuman, and unrelatable. The Predator seems different. Even in the first gilm, the Predator had goals, rules, and imagery that the audience could understand and somewhat relate to. I think that's why so many people like the predators honor system. I see the yautja like a lost indigenous tribe, very, very different, but learning about them doesn't demean or devalue them. However, it needs to be done carefully, and in a way that the majority of fans will accept, which is difficult, and needs skilled writing.

She-Venom So far it appears the Upgrade is not a Super Predator, but a classic Predator from a clan that's started to juice themselves up with DNA from different species. If you watch the latest trailers, you can see the upgrade has a Classic head before he transforms, different from the Super Preds.

It seems to me that, if this is indeed an internal conflict between the two main Yautja subspecies, then the Classic Predators and Supers are actually pretty evenly matched, since it's been going on for centuries at pretty much a standstill. The Supers look somewhat taller and their facial features are more stark and pronounced, but that's about it. I really don't think a Super is necessarily that much stronger, if at all, than a Clsssic. Remember that the crucified Predator was severely weakened, dehydrated, and probably half starved, but in his battle with the Super still managed to get in some really good hits and gave the Super quite a fight. And the Yautja from both the first and second Predstor films, as well as the AVP films, are obviously extremely seasoned and very highly accomplished warriors whom l just can't see being inferior in any way to a Super, or even being defeated by one. So overall l think that much more so than any physical differences, the most significant distinction between the two races is that the Supers are somewhat like an outlaw or criminal class, kind of like a violent and rebellious biker gang among the Yautja, and looked down upon and held in contempt as such by greater Yautja society.

The other Clans not agreeing The females mating with those clans that are seemed victorious in their hunts ( Super Yautja ) Kind of like in Human kind and Mankind societies the females go for the taller men Based on stereotypes about size. In most cases not true at all Note : The female Yautja is taller than the average Yautja in their societies. So the smaller Yautja got with a special type of entity that offered them a weapon against the Larger Yautja. A Armor suit that can kill Larger ( super ) Yautja. They held a clan conference that all agreed to take that Armor Suit to Earth That is the reason there is civil war. Between clans. The Larger Yautja is trying to take over Yautja Prime. So the smaller Yautja figure something has be done to save their clans. An Armor suit giving to mankind because mankind is one of the most intelligent hated prey
