I really enjoy your videos. I like that they have more of a relaxed vibe than... well, any other race observation or commentary videos I've watched. I was watching the initial footage thinking ‘that doesn’t look that quick’. Then a few moments later Ben points out how everyone is taking it easy. Then more footage of gnarly obstacles being taken at scary velocities follows to back up the point. I reckon I could get down that track in about 40 minutes with soiled trousers.

I like it more when you focus on 3-4 sections because when you change so many sections and angles it's hard to find the riders on the next scene and the eyes are scanning the whole display. Also that method made you cut many hads of the riders during the riding. But thats my opinion. Keep up the good work 🤘

Cheers for taking the wider view of the course. The thing I find frustrating about the Red Bull coverage is the focus on fast sections with big jumps - spectacular, but not very interesting. Your videos are great for looking at some more technical sections.

CATHROVISION must be the enemy of some racing teams. Letting out all the damn riders lines and secrets mate.

There are dozens of photogs on site and all the teams have spotters on track too with cellphones. There are no secrets. That was true even in the late 90s. Walking track & riding it, you see everything and in person you don't need video to tell you who is faster. You're right there. If you were to ask anyone present trackside, they can even predict the top 10 finishers on a particular track before even qualifying begins. Cathro isn't giving away anything these racers don't know

8:31 8:42 What is the technique to do quick turns at low speed like this ? I always feel like I'm doing a crappy skid when I'm trying to do this, but they don't seems to use the ''weight on the front'' technique either. Any good rider advice ?

No special technique here. Just basic cornering techniques at high speed in a tight corner with a catch will more often than not cause the back wheel to slide. Back brake can be used to initiate the slide but you have to let go of the brake to get it “fast”.

Cushcore can't be beat at the moment for inserts, I'd imagine most riders here would at least be running one in the rear..? Re pressures, most people run 23-27ish psi depending on conditions, front often a little less than rear.
