My husband has very sensitive eyes and wears sunglasses all the time so you look totally normal to me. I'm so glad to see your lavender fields survived and the tulips are coming up like a rebirth of your land. We don't always get the opportunity to start over and do things the way we wish they had been done in the past. Although you are dealing with the hardship of loss, hopefully you are finding joy in building back better and making things the way you want them to be. I look forward to more posts on the progress!! Blessings to you and your family.

People so sensitive to people outside wearing sunglasses, seriously need something more to do in their lives. Bravo for taking care of yourselves. I have very sensitive eyes, my son and grandson also. Everyone should protect their eyes from the damage the sun causes over time. Our vision is well worth the trouble of wearing sunglasses.
@Sanecrist2 жыл бұрын
Caring IS something they've decided to do with their lives. Sunglasses block the brain's receptors to light making you more likely to get cancer. Your body can't put up defenses if it doesn't know it needs to. Food is a bigger issue than the sun. Protect your eyes by eating liver and oysters. Retinal, copper, and zinc are essential for maintaining eye health.

What a heck, that's a problem too now, wearing sunglasses? Wow! I always weared sunglasses, ever since I can remember. Now I make a point to let the sun into my eyes a little at the time because it's healthy....but am very light sensitive. I see pretty good at night though.

What a wonderful job you are doing with the re-build! I didn’t realize Iowa had hills! Your farm is beautiful! Our society, in not just our country but the world, has been so judgmental and just mean. NO ONE knows what any person may be having a trial with. Criticizing someone for wearing sunglasses… why?! Kindness goes a long way. You both have a kind nature and I wish you both a speedy - healthy success in rebuilding your beautiful farm. From a crazy gardener and Melanoma fighter! - Clare- Michigan

We had an F0 hit our place a couple of days ago. The only damage we had was a bird's nest got knocked down and half the tree it was in. Thankfully there were No birds using it at the moment However, with what we are gonna cut out of that tree. We will build a new house for the birds to use when they need it. They would always come back to that nest every year. Hopefully they will like their new place.

Oh my goodness what a Joy to see y'alls smiling faces. I can't even begin to tell you how it brighten my day to see y'all working hard to get back to normal after going thru this horrible devastating experience. I happened to be looking for joyful news to make my own self feel better. My 35 yr old committed suicide 3 wks. ago and I have been having such a hard time getting past it all. Its very overwhelming everyday for me. I had a friend today reach out and say I how I need to just rest and relax today. I hopped on KZbin and saw y'all posted today. It warmed my heart so very much to see y'all smiling and moving on. Seeing your joy has brought joy to me mentally which was really needed. I pray y'all exceed more than you can imagine this year on your flower farm. God bless you both and God bless your God given hands.

I am so sorry for your unimaginable pain. It will always hurt but as time passes very little by little the frequency of your pain will lessen. You will go for entire minute w/o remembering to 10 minutes..slowly until maybe only a few times a day remembering that crushing pain. Please be kind to yourself. Take the time you need. You are not alone. Unfortunately too many people share your pain. Take the kind offers … you are loved.

Why not white with blue trim? That would look nice. Oh wait, those were the colors of my high school (Bondurant-Farrar). Nvm, don't do that. It's an awful town. I was so happy the day I never had to go back there. Granted, with how many new ppl have moved there and the massive increase in students/residents, it's probably better than it was. But gods, was Bondurant cliquey! After Covid, I might have to rent a car and come down to visit and take a class or something. We live up in Ames. Unfortunately, we have to be paranoid about potential Covid exposure - my partner's kidney transplant is on its last leg and he's back on dialysis. We're just waiting for another kidney at this point, but even then his compromised immune system will mean we need to keep our distance from pretty much everyone until the pandemic's over... whenever that will be. I'm glad y'all are doing okay and getting things back on track. That was a terrifying storm.
