l really like that it is a walkthrough - but not for beginners - like 'make sure it's in the right key' trusting that who is watching knows their S#!t and how to do stuff - gives the option to go over many stuff - and not teaching basic stuff like how to open a return channel etc. thanks Eitan!

Thanks for your feedback. we can not teach everything of course :) however, viewers are welcome to download the project and experiment for themselves for a deeper understadning.

this was really insightful, id love to hear a re-creation of the Krafwerk numbers plucky synth, not the flangey drums but the off kilter saw tooth sequence, i've never been able to get it spot on. thanks!
@georgehorn19702 жыл бұрын
Good but needs a deeper kick. Remember the drums were not recorded with a digital computer, but a custom made drum machine. You should try this using one.🤔 It's not a bad attempt.
@pankaburek592 жыл бұрын
It seem don't be a drum machine it's just controler connected to a synthesizer or another device Tanzmusik 1973 video seem to prove it look for florian's syntheiszer and listen to drum souns little red bulb light at every drum beat so custom drums were just connected to syntheiszer idk maybe later it changed

Nice!!! I would love for you to create a video on How "Numbers" by Kraftwerk was Produced! I would especially love for you to examine and showcase how the squashed BD and SNR sounds are created! Thanks!!!

I thought it was a cover with the gear used but its very similar though ! 👍

Thanks! It would be even harder to make an exact reproduction of something using analog. However, that may be a fun thing to try sometime.

they didn't have the computers back then, let alone softsynths/plugins. So the title is misleading.
@Transient3 жыл бұрын
In some ways that's true, we also mention it in the video. Our goal was to go over the ideas and the sound settings that were used and not the specific gear. Having said that, we hope u find some insightful information in our channel.
@marcpinion3 жыл бұрын
@@Transient if you use frez frame you can setup your analog synths in the same way. We are lucky today you have lots of options to get multiple analog synths cheepley. I was lucky to have a wasp synth when this can out. It cost £200 that was 2 months wages. A mini moog was over £500. You had to use one synth to record every part. Studio time was between £25/£35 an hour and if you could get it you would be recording at stupid o’clock because the record labels would be paying for the best staff at the best time.
@norakat Жыл бұрын
No because even though they are software synths, they emulate classic analog synths. Most of the same techniques apply to the hardware synths.
@mr_don_key Жыл бұрын
@@norakat still.. it's not how it was produced.. it's a recreation with modern gear at most.
