Is really necessary to spend more than double time offscreen than on screen what if some one can't manage it

I respect you but the snide comment about "woke" culture makes you seem less credible and unprofessional, sigh

So in a sense, this is like the old days before personal computers and viewers get hooked on soap operas. From what I hear you saying, this addiction does not need porn to happen. I've known some women that spend hours a day watching shows like Murder and Makeup. Love to hear your comments!

Hey Dr Trish, I have a question. What is your take on watching KZbin content in 1.25x or faster speeds? Should I stop doing that?
@fatherdamien69 Жыл бұрын
Stay off the internet as much as possible. I doubt the speed would matter. Its time spend on the screen. I'm working my way down to 3 days a week 1 hour only. 3 hours per week total. I've spent decades on the internet. I never knew any of this. I'm retiring from the internet. I'm going to have a new brain in 1-3 years.

More people need to hear this! It is scary how addicting social media and the internet can be, and it is crazy how everywhere you go, you see people glued to their phones. People can’t live without it now, but I have no doubt it is doing more harm than good. I kind of wish we could just go back to those brick cell phones without all of the capabilities we have now. Technology can be used for good, but the balance for most people can be difficult, myself included. I know that I have felt better when I’ve stayed out of the screen, and setting limits can be a great tool. I also like what you said about using the internet with a purpose rather than just mindlessly scrolling through the feed.
@larknoone565 Жыл бұрын
In my opinion, the reason why internet and digital tools are causing more harm than good is that these tools are extremely dangerous and require full awareness of their potential harm but most people are oblivious to those dangers and use internet in a naive way. People need to know they must build good habits to protect their eyes, back, neck, brain , overall health , time, energy , relationships ...

Genius explanation.... Dr. Trish talking about social medias such as fb, Twitter and so on
@darrenhall7636 Жыл бұрын
What are you talking about when it comes to Jim Carry he played basically the same character in every movie he did,he always played the buffoon or idiot on screen to get laughs,he's a comedian.

I speak four languages and I feel like I have 4 personalities. Its not like you imagine like a crazy person, its more like: "I can't feel this way in USA, or, I feel this way when I'm in Brazil, or in France I act like this"... I always said that and I can relate to Jim Carey bc I legit feel like I have more than one personality. Maybe even more than 4, as crazy as it sounds, and I feel it's bc I lived in many different places and countries.

Is there anyway that we can get people that have had neurofeedback training to talk to those who don't think it's real because you know what I'm talking about the Spectrum doesn't let people have that connection no pun intended
@stclairjones8152 жыл бұрын
Just like when Neo gets hooked up to get out of the Matrix he has to ask Trinity did she do it and she says yes what an incredible moment right there we need the spokespeople for those that need the spokespeople in person that have come through The Matrix

Love the channel! I have been wondering about this - I work in Higher Ed and have been experimenting with VR the past couple of years, and have experienced and have read about the tremendous amount of dopamine that the experiences in the headset can provide. Have you or do you plan to do any experimentation (or lit) on how VR use affects personality, brainwaves, etc.?

Again Ben, I hear all this, and Trish is important, but I would like to see the man who started all this. Why masturbation is such a problem and what it does for the woman, . You can go in all you want, but if Trish just sits there, everyone's going to wonder what's wrong with you. John.
