The real value that the Mushroom kingdom was offering the Kong Army was allowing the Kongs to fight Bowser on Mushroom Kingdom soil- Bowser's fortress showing up was enough to destroy any kingdom on it's own. Kong city would have been destroyed when Bowser came for them, but if they fight while he assaults the Mushroom Kingdom it spares their capital.

Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass Link said “Hey!” or “Come on!”. The Hero’s Shade in Twilight Princess is also Hero of Time (Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask Link), so he talks and mentors his descendant, Twilight Princess Link. BotW/TotK Link does talk through dialogue options, however 100 years before BotW. He stayed silent due to his position as Hyrule’s chosen hero which makes him feel the world is watching him. So he thinks it’s necessary to stay strong and silent, but it also caused him to stop expressing his thoughts and feelings.

I love how all of the voices sounded pretty close to the cartoon counterparts, except for the Mario voice. Which makes sense since Chris Pratt didn’t sound anything like Mario in the actual movie.

@Laura-ol5mt I'd agree. I did like how they made Bowser into a truly cruel, vicious, and powerful villain that needed a power that invincible in order to defeat him. And Luigi fighting alongside Mario gave him a true role as an equal to Mario, which I'm hoping continues.

Link and Zelda's cameo had me crying. The funny part is that they aren't even from the same game. Link looks close to his Skyward sword design and Zelda is clearly from Breath of the Wild, two games on the opposite end of the timeline. It would have been funny if HISHE had teamed up with TerminalMontange so that Bowser and Ganondorf could have a music battle. Bowser with his peach song and Ganon with Suavemente
