I have a hot take that’ll probably get bashed here. Agatha isn’t on a redemption arch. That would be such a betrayal to how the character is in the MCU. I think she’s dragging teen to the end of the road with the intention of resurrecting her own son and possessing the teen. However the teen is wiccan and will have the second twist to the double cross on Agatha and he was only on the road to get his mom back. Also saying her pretending to be good but actually being bad is one dimensional is how she’s been Agatha all along. I guess I kinda feel like that’s why I fell in love with her in the first place on Wanda.

The producer said this was a redemption arc for Agatha though. You can kinda already see little hints of this in her behavior when she didn’t let teen drink. And she seems genuinely concerned for Lilia after her vision. How she acted during her vision was also interesting? She seemed broken. I would hope that they add onto her character and show more. I get wanting her to be evil but it would feel very one dimensional

I think he’s just Billy and that it’s a red herring. Billy is longing for his destiny (magic/reuniting with Wanda) and Agatha is more vulnerable than she lets on- she feels guilty and she’s protecting him because he reminds her of herself/her son.

And I really don't think that "Teen" is Nicholas Scratch. Since we already have seen the Salem Seven that means that Nicholas isn't dead and that he escaped Chthon's grasp after either Agatha or Rio traded Nicholas when he was a child for the Darkhold. Personally, I believe that Nicholas Scratch is the main antagonist of the series and will be the final test on the Witches Road forcing Agatha to confront her selfish choices. Now, Marvel could say that Nicholas' spirit resides in the Witches Road and that he conjured up enough strength to bring forth the Salem Seven to be physical beings to spook Agatha, and Nicholas' spirit could possess Teen's body to face Agatha. But hopefully, Nicholas is his own person. Because the idea of him being trapped in a rabbit is really stupid.

I don't think Agatha's son is dead or in hell with Mephisto. I think Agatha just deserted him when he was very young when she got the Darkhold. We will eventually find out she did it to protect him from the evil book, but he's going to be very angry about her abandonment. And that is why the Salem Seven are after her. Her son is either the father of the Salem Seven, like the comics, or maybe he was raised by the Salem Seven.

So I definitely think Wanda is dead. In the comics she's resurrected on Witches Road. I think that Agatha is going to be forced to resurrect Wanda (Stranges clue about breaking a dead man's spell) to help Wiccan unleash his powers to beat the Salem Seven.Agatha also doesn't have her powers. So that's another reason I think she needs Wanda back. She tried to get the other witches to "blast her" to absorb their powers but there is no telling that she would've survived. Additionally, I think this will play a role in the reveal for Aubrey Plazas character, who I do think is definitely Death. Specifically, I think they will use her power of necromancy to achieve bringing Wanda back in a way. Just a theory tho.

Which would pave the way for her "son" to be the magic user (young) avenger who isn't as overpowered. But I think there's decent foreshadowing she will return in some fashion, she may just "retire" from magic as a means to sidelining her. And there's also a chance they leave that kinda ambiguous and wait for the Vision quest show to confirm any such thing about Wanda.

He's Wanda's son who spirit possessed Billy ?? who died in the car accident. I think before the accident, Billy & his parents were aware of & active in the world of magic & witches. And I think he put the hex on himself. Maybe to protect his parents from Agatha. I do think there is more we will learn about his what really happened while Agatha was still under the hex & how Rio is involved in it. Billy seemed to be too nonchalant about Agatha's fight with Rio. Does he know he is a reincarnated powerful witch? Why did he know to free Agatha now? etc Agatha is not being nice to Billy/Teen because she feels maternal. I think she knows how very powerful he is & wants to steal his power. I think her plan is to keep him alive so when she gets her power back, just like Wanda, she can help him realize his full power then steals it. Agatha can sense people's magic & level of power. And she justifies stealing magic from witches she feels are undeserving & didn't worked hard for it. She said Wanda didn't deserve all her power & she didn't go after Jennifer Kale because she thought she was deserving of her power. And she doesn't think Billy/Teen deserves such great power. When she explained to Lillia Calderu the secret about how she couldn't steal her power, she was whispering b/c she didn't want Billy/Teen to hear & know that secret & she had him leave the basement during the song, because her plan was to steal their powers, so she again didn't want him to see how that worked. There were some scenes in the trailer that I think are very important. One showed Agatha on the road with some orange power for just a minute then it disappears & there were a few mentions of her being covenless. I think along the road, other witches will drop off/die after they complete their task & Agatha will kind of get their power but be unable to fully use it when that happens. And I think that will be Agatha's true test. She will be tempted to get all of the other witches powers, but in order to truly succeed, she will have to choose to give up their powers & save the coven instead. Her true reward on the witches road is to finally have a true coven that she doesn't just kill & steal power from. And part of that will include her choosing not to steal Bill's power & instead become maternal & a mentor to Billy.

Quick comment - I LIKE the mention that Vision's essence also played a role in to boys' being. Marvel being Marvel and our current times it might be absolutely ignored, but, the boys are Simon Williams "twin" brother, Vision's, sons as well. Its a trope, perhaps destructive one, only a mother's love counts for anything. While the series is already written and completed it would have been nice to have seen "Teen" exhibit some of Vision's ability as well.

I didn’t watch this but I needed somewhere to post my theory, So we know or we at least believe that Agatha walked the Witches Road before, *SPOILER TO EPISODE 4 BELOW.* Agatha confirms in ep 4 that she was the only witch to leave the road on her first go, Could what Agatha wanted have been the darkhold and the road have given it to her when she passed it? Then meaning she could either take the darkhold and sacrifice her son or don’t take the darkhold and die on the road? It would make a little bit of sense that she might’ve not WANTED to sacrifice her son but she thought it’s him or me or something?…

I think Billy's parents (the Kaplan's) were already part of the witches world to some extent at least before the car accident since they went to the see Alice Mom's concert. And Billy's interest in magic was also there before the accident & he was reincarnated. The question is does he know he is Wiccan or is that something he will discover thru the progression of the show.

Some considerations, Wanda can subconsciously cast elaborate spells, “You know, a family is forever. We could never truly leave each other, even if we tried.” Agatha even says, “You're supposed to be a myth. A being capable of spontaneous creation, and here you are, using it to make breakfast for dinner.” This shows that normal magic rules may not apply. Things also get interesting as Billy has the same/similar powers to Wanda. He may have also subconsciously cast a powerful spell. Wanda “died” in a flash of red off screen. Billy “died” in a flash of red off screen. The sidual might be a strange combination of Wanda’s desire to protect Billy’s essence combined with the memory altering of the hex being undone. I also wonder if there is some retconning. Billy’s soul might have latched onto a powerful body near by in Eastview, Billy Kaplan. Agatha’s son could also be Billy Kaplan somehow now present as since Wanda took Agatha’s power. It would be interesting if Billy is somehow both Wanda and Agatha’s son. If Agatha did something to protect her son, having his memory be altered, not age, and go from family to family with a reset, the sidual might have been from Agatha to protect him. She may have cast this to protect her son, Nicholas Scratch, and also cause her to forget. She would remember her son as it would be a tell to others if she suddenly forgot she had a son. Agatha may have also been twisted state thinking “something” she did cause her son’s death. That could lead into her studying dark magic that then led to the Salem scene where Agatha was accosted by her coven. Agatha’s love for her son might be the mental aspect that could allow a similar mind therapy session in Agatha All Along as was performed on Wanda in WandaVision. That might be the empty room scene with Billy and Agatha. Back to Billy possibly being both Agatha’s and Wanda’s son in some way, after Wanda’s death affected memory spells slightly weakening after Wanda’s “death” and with Agatha’s magic lost possibly effecting and spell on Billy Kaplan, it might have been enough to unbind Billy’s powers and create some cracks in any memory manipulation. This also might be how he knew how to help Wanda break out of her delusions. There also might be something about Billy Kaplan being a normal human whose body was latched onto by Billy Maximoff and/or Nicholas Scratch. Remember Wanda saying to her boys, “Thank you for choosing me to be your mom.” Agatha could have lost Nickolas and Billy Maximoff might have been an opportunity for Nicholas to be reborn. Wanda cannot fix dead, but this might be a chaos magic loophole. Then when the hex fell, Billy/Nickolas might have proceeded on to Billy Kaplan. If Mephisto was involved in both Agatha and Wanda’s kids being created… the could be the gap that bridges their kids being related in some way. Then at the “lucky” age of thirteen, Billy Kaplan died or almost died in a car accident, but the soul(s) merged with him.

Mephisto in general was a meme because people freaked out about everyone and everything being related to mephisto but then he never even showed up. I don't think they should retcon Wanda as the nexus being for Wiccan. She was not born but forged remember? It's only in 616(if we sure about it) that she doesn't keep her kids because that is one of the things that forges her. To forge you need to apply pressure and everything going on in her life was meant to make her THE Scarlet Witch. 838 Wanda could have never even had her powers and might have conceived her children naturally.

Also - it feels like a fakeout that it's Billy only because he looks so different from his kid version. Like the hair is drastically different. (I get it, variants, but) I get curly hair getting relaxed or vice versa when you're an infant -> toddler/child but for your hair to curl up that crazy from a child to a teen doesn't check out. However, I know Billy is supposed to be gay but that also feels like a fake out!

It should also be noted that the pillow with the Crab representing Cancer. Cancer is also ruled by the Moon and Cancer also is the house of "the home" since the Crab literally carries it's home with them. This episode was very focused on the home with lots of pastel colors which is a common theme for Cancer people.

I think at some point the show will go back & we will see what was actually going on when Agatha was under the hex & thought she was a crime detective. They have shown still shots of those scenes from the point of view outside of someone other than Agatha. Then we will know what was going on between Billy/Teen & Rio. Were they working together? Did Rio use some type of magic on him to make him the one to break Agatha out of her spell? Billy/Teen had no reaction to Rio showing up & fighting Agatha even though he watched the whole thing happen. So there is definitely more to that story. I will be interested to see how he reacts to Rio joining them on the road.

Except that Deadpool Wolverine changed literally all of that. Absolute points mean nothing now. At the end the B lady from TVA admits that the timelines are all healing on their own and in effect, "they no longer need Loki sitting there to do anything," and "absolute points can now be broken, anchor beings can now die, without screwing up their universes." All thanks to Deadpool and Wolverine teaming up and taking down a time destroyer machine. I wonder if this plays a huge part in The Miles Morales Anime Movies, allowing Miles to save his dad's life and undo the damage to Spider-Man India's universe. This also, in effect, makes Doom mad, because he wanted the incursions to bring every universe to its knees and suck it all up into one universe. So basically Deadpool and Wolverine screwed up Doom's plan to abuse Kang and the Beyonder and make this one world unity thing. So the next set of movies will basically set up Doom's "I'll go do it myself," movie (Thanos' quote before going to get all the stones for himself instead of constantly sending losers.

16:02 Billy is like Hari from Andrei Tarkovsky's Solaris, a life from created by the conscious planet Solaris, based on her Husband's (Kelvin's memories). Hari cannot exist outside of the magnetosphere of planet Solaris, just like Billy cannot exist outside Wanda's Hex. And Hari, slowly shows evidence of becoming an individual human being free of Kelvin's memories and Planet Solaris's interpretation of Kelvin's memories.

I think the reason the 616 Wanda is the only one with out kids, is because it was her destiny to destroy the dark hold a feat the had a high chance of killer her. And there is one thing Wanda would never do and that is orphaned her boys. So the multi-vers made a version of Wanda with out kids to destroy the dark hold.

If a body is possessed by a soul that's not it's natural-born soul, it can be commanded to leave if it can be convinced to speak its name. Teen is Black Heart, I'm pretty sure, because his name can't be spoken, written, etc. Ms Hart wasn't a witch, that's why she died, and I think Rio saying she has a black heart was a red herring. It's Teen's hair in the locket, which is kept to bind or compel. Agatha called him her "pet" and took him on the road, because the Ballad specifies that a witch must take her familiar. I think Wiccan died in the backseat of that car wreck 3 years ago, and his soul became bound in Teen's body (why Teen's body, idk yet) when he was 13. That's why during the hex he was found in her house, and after the hex he was actually tied up in her closet - and the hex lasted 3 years, so it all lines up. She wanted a son, but knew Wiccan would leave to find his mom, so Agatha bound him as her familiar. That's my roll of the dice.

I guess Wanda was just show/fake pregnant and both Billy and Tommy are played by different children in the different stages. Just like Sharon Davis was forced to play Mrs. Hart, this now Teen probably was the same boy that Wanda forced to played the version of Bill that unlocked ‘his’ Wiccan powers. Him being magical might have interpreted with Wanda taking the hex down and he still has access to magic as well as the inability to voice details about himself that conflict with Wanda’s script for Billy. It would be interesting to see if some other boy ends up also having the same issues. Or if the Teen’s quest is somehow about restoring Speed.

I was hoping Teen was just being teased as Wanda or Agatha's son, for a heart crushing reveal to be Blackheart, son and agent Mephisto! He could of been using the road to bring back the Darkhold.
