Very interesting analysis on the tank psychology, i realize i was already doing some of these things but i didnt have much of a thought process for it. I have trouble playing as dive tanks like venom, but he relies just as much or more on his team than tanks like dr strange or magneto so he doesnt get melted instantly lol.

So it is normally good to to hug the corner/wall where the area opens up more and use natural cover when you can. And try to usually take the the room to get more space for team. What if the enemy takes the space first? Should I try to push to get some of the space or fall back a bit to try to get them into my space? One seems more for attacking the other seems for defending. Also what about hallways, trying to contest there? Should I try to push to take up all of the hallway? So from the information, it seems for dive tanks it is good to dive when the tank is trying to take space, and at corners to make the support lose line of sight of tanks. Also to buy time for main team to get some space.

If the enemy has taken the space first then you just try and edge them back without dying yourself. You can definitely extend into hallways if the enemy hasn’t reach it yet so you can control the entrance But yeah overall you’re trying to take what you can without dying yourself

Could you make a video like this for support? And my touch on ult management with them?

Absolutely, expect it in about a weeks time.

is brawl just not a thing in marvel rivals? like what's the difference between poke, brawl and dive in this game compared to ow?
@Ayrty4 күн бұрын
Nah brawl would be a thing too, I just didn’t get around to it. I’d say Thor would fit into that category or hulk.

Groot is forsure a brawler as well

yo tysm for making this really enjoyed it! unrelated, I was wondering what are the que times like for high elo on the oce pingsites? Im currently hardstuck dai and the quetimes are genuinely really good (which I was shocked with)! Do you just play against the same players every game?
@Ayrty3 күн бұрын
Currently in gm, depending on the time of day it’s 1-10 mins to find a game so not too bad.

how important is using the shield as second hp? currently what I do from full HP and Shield is that I put the shield up and let it take some damage, then I put it down and HP tank so that the shield recovers, then after that I switch between HP and Shield depending on which is full so if the Shield fully recovers I shield up and if my support heals me to full I drop shield and tank a bit with HP. Is there a downside to playing this kind of back and forth? My reasoning is that this way maximizea both the shield regen and the heal you get from supports.
@Ayrty4 күн бұрын
Yeah this is great way to do it! I think every player will have slight differences in approach because they will play with slightly different levels of aggression and what not.

I've found its tough to know where your healers are when you're pushing up (and if they're attention is on you aka they're not getting dived). What would you recommend doing to be aware of this? It's tough to continually look backwards in the heat of battle on Strange for example (my tank main) Great vid btw.

Thanks for your comment! I’d say this will just naturally improve as you play, just by thinking about it. You don’t have to look back to necessarily know if they are there or not. Other option is just to communicate with them where possible. And finally as you rank up, the supports will be better at keeping you in their line of sight.
