US President Biden is hosting Japan's Prime Minister Kishida for talks focusing on the security situation in the Indo-Pacific.
Biden hailed the partnership between Washington and Tokyo as "unbreakable". The two leaders will be joined in Washington on Thursday by the Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr for a summit on the perceived security threat from China. It's the first such summit between the three nations.

In the UN's "Final Clauses of Multilateral Treaties, Handbook" published in 2003, it says : regarding the Taiwan Province of China, the Secretary-General follows the General Assembly’s guidance incorporated in resolution 2758 (XXVI) of the General Assembly of 25 October 1971 on the restoration of the lawful rights of the People’s Republic of China in the United Nations. The General Assembly decided to recognize the representatives of the Government of the People’s Republic of China as the only legitimate representatives of China to the United Nations. Victims of past colonialism: Just remember which superpower or superpowers gave your country the horrible eras of genocidal occupation and colonialism (or in false pretense with other rationale) many decades ago. Recently, your country seems to be displaying gratitude toward that country (or countries) who occupied, murdered, massacred your ancestors via colonialism. Historically fact: although there were numerous domestic and civil wars within China, however China never acted aggression toward other countries, unless it was for defense. Check up the historical facts and if you still prefer to side with those who massacred your ancestors, all power to you.

Sure is interesting to hear DW condemn Russia for violating Ukraine's sovereignty in one breath, and in another to actively praise and promote the U.S.'s attempts to violate China's sovereignty by aiding and militarizing separatists on the island. Also, interesting to hear them discuss the single dispute Japan has with China while supplying no details regarding it. Let me therefore explain how this came about. The Diaoyu/Senkaku Islands belong to China, but in 2012 Japan suddenly claimed them. By "nationalizing" the islands in 2012, Japan recognized that they did not belong to Japan, and that they were claiming them for the first time since WWII (Japan obviously thinks they should be "rewarded" for terrorizing South-East Asia in WWII). The U.S. then backed this obvious expansionism by extending their Mutual-Defense Treaty to cover the Diaoyu/Senkaku islands so that neither China nor Japan can use them without starting a war.

I suggest reading books about geopolitics, start with the origins of alliances. Its concise and an excellent read well worth your time if you want to get at least a rudimentary knowledge of something you obviously are lacking of.

Philippines has the right to defend itself it was the years 90's after the US pulled out their military base in Subic Clark. Philippines allowed the Chinese to built for their temporary fisherman shelter in one island in Phl territory, but, China it break the agreement. China should dismantle all its infrastructures, halt all reclamations, and take full accountability for the damages caused in the West Philippine Sea. China insisted their historical claim, but it is invalid in international law, the 2016 Arbitral Tribunal Ruling is final and binding on the Parties and called on the PRC to abide by its obligations under international law. We should stop recognized the One China Policy. Only China creating tension in Phl EEZ territory.

America's provocative path is raising concerns among countries in Asia The US Foreign Policy to keep Asia poor and divided as stated in a top-secret U.S. Foreign Policy document written 76 years ago is still in force. February 24, 1948, Declassified U.S. Foreign Policy: Furthermore, we have about 50% of the world’s wealth but only 6.3% of its population. This disparity is particularly great as between ourselves and the peoples of Asia. In this situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity without positive detriment to our national security. ... that Japan and the Philippines will be found to be the corner-stones of such a Pacific security system and that if we can contrive to retain effective control over these areas there can be no serious threat to our security from the East within our time. Taiwan was added to the Pacific security system after Chiang's army retreated to the island of Taiwan in 1949. South Korea was added after the Korean War in 1953. The attempt with Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia was abandoned in 1975.

To be fair, Japan can still defend themselves against most countries, there's only very few that can actually harm or invade them. Japan should defend its former colony that it ruled with brutality for 50 years? Really ? Israel is allowed to colonise the west bank, so in the extremely unlikely and irresponsible move, is America thinking about Taiwan becoming part of Japan and then japan could do a proxy war with China like ulkraine against Russia? Like sending military aids to Japan so the japanese can defend taiwan? You guys ever asked if Japanese locals, NOT the extremely unpopular politicians, want to wage a war against China over Taiwan? Must japanese military be dragged into a war with China over taiwan? Is japan truly a Democracy when most want to stay out of a war? All the talks about democracy is better than chinese communism, does it mean it s better alternative if taiwan is being colonised by democracy, just like how the west accepted the colonisation of the west bank? If you want to talk about international law, who is actively supporting israel with military aids and starving 2 million people in Gaza or doing nothing when the west bank is Illegally occupied? Taiwan being occupied by China would be MORE legitimate under international law than israel colonising west bank because almost ALL countries recognise the one China policy. If the west accepted colonisation in the west bank, is it not the height of hypocrisy if a war over Taiwan happens despite the island being part of China, with its full official name being the Republic of China?
