I was weary that the excitement would wear off with this unit. I've had it over a month I think, or close to it and the sonic variability of this thing is mind blowing. This is a well thought out unit, easy to navigate and built like a brick. For the price, it's a no brainer. Now there is the digital/analog debacle. For me, I don't care that it's digital. The filter section is awesome. 4 filter types to choose from I believe and I think you can assign a different filter to each corner. I haven't really dug into the mechanics of things. Once I have all the mechanics memorized, I tend to get bored of things. I like to noodle and surprise myself. One if the best aspects, I might have mentioned in a previous post is the fact that you can feed the arp/sequencer notes via 1 midi channel and control the synth itself from another midi channel. Usually I just like to program notes into the ARP and then toggle between on/off with the ARP while a regular sequence is running. Fun as all heck. The sounds I get out of this thing I describe as multi dimensional. Finally, the support from Vector is the best I've seen in a long time. They're not in the USA, so obviously when I'm awake at 10pm, they're asleep, but next day = a response, whether it's a technical issue or a noob question. I can't say enough good things about Adam and Vector. Companies these days don't seem to care much about customer service, so timely responses are HUGE in my book. I'm surprised more people aren't aware and interested in this machine.

This is the real spirit of synthesis - a completely new approach that takes us somewhere new.. Thanks for the in depth look. It's the best demo I've seen online.. BTW it's Lie, sage, us..(Lissajous)

It's a shame the price went to from 770 Euro to 940 Euro excluding vat. I had just about persuaded I could justify this, but the price bumbled. Then the Taiga caught my eye instead. Although I still keep checking the synth out periodically.

Vector has solved my synth-slumber about a year ago. Highly recommend, and thanks for the walkthrough. It can be daunting at first, but once you get your head around it it's all rather intuitive. Thumbs up!

At a glance, reminds me of CUBE (a VST), the Cube dot moving within a 3D space, notwithstanding.

I was watching a Yamaha TG33 on eBay a few days ago, and thought about putting a bid snipe for $250, but decided not to because I was sure it would go for over $350. Turns out it went for $180. Whoops.

This takes vector another 10x ... but for $180 absolutely!!

I'm sorry but I see no justification for a submersible synth. This is pure gimmickry. EDIT: more seriously, great textures on this and looks super fun...

Might be showing my age but, at one point, the Orbiter screen resembles the animated frog from Vision On. Also, this is a terrific sounding piece of kit. Top work, Mr Carr.

Fantastic video. Thanks for taking the time! I swore I wouldn’t buy any more synths, but this thing is the coolest synth I’ve ever seen. So just one more, then! :)

The Solaris does the same - but obviously with a higher price tag - but that graphic feedback display I can see will really help with spatial editing.

That touch screen is great for quick modulation instead of having to turn a bunch of knobs one by one. Amazing for live performance.
