Well... Much of this is propaganda. And most of the Venezuelan people realize that the trade embargoes against them is the reason for the lack of food. The US has had it out for Venezuela since Chavez, they even staged a coup that was unsucessfull. They tried to get a right wing politician that got less rhen 3% of the vote to become the president. They thought that because of the hardship that was imposed by the embargos the people would turn on Maduro. But they didnt, because most Venezuelans are very politicly aware. They have gotten so much from Chavez and Maduro, healthcare, schools and nationalization of their natural resources that they will go to the grave for them.

as a brazillian myself, i think my country has it crazier XD the start of the left : people elected a president that has not a single formation, economic, politics, anything, it was just a drunkard that worked at a metalurgic, but had the glorified discourse from the left comunist that he would provide everything to everyone. and he won against a guy, who had multiple formations, and had clear goals for the country, nothing too dramatic or miraculous, he was and will be the best president Brazil never had. then, after beign elected as president, dude robbed the money form the country, with all the other politicians from his side (PT, wich btw, has a red flag like the comunist one) they made entire generations get destroyed , cuz there was money beign robbed from every place , energy company, oil company, education and so on, for more than a decade. and he was juldged by that, and convicted, but he never went to jail for long :) . after his last turn, the next president was a woman from the same side (PT) who started robbing and doing a lot of shit too, and she was detrhoned, (cuz it seems that everyone from that (PT) dont have any basic education, and speak a lot of nonsense, last week LULA spoke "last president form the right, killed 300 trillions of people during the pandemic" and those days ago, thanked the president from south africa for the slaves they sent back then ... salary on Brazil is aroun 250$ month, (its even worse, cuz most prices like electronics and cars, house, are based on dolar. the taxes here on Brazil are one of the highest on the planet, for you to get a product form outside country here, you need to pay 60% tax, and then 17% more tax. and its just a resume, LULA and his friends have been Racist, homophobic, xenophobic and mocking poor people, on national television ^^. its like what happens on US trump cant hold a bottle of water with two hands and its on national television that he is too old, meanwhile the ped0phile biden keeps tripping and talking with air, and everyone is blinded.

Venezuela is gradually recovering under the leadership of president nicholas maduro. As the US dollar loses values and the ability of US to impose starvation-inducing sanctions on countries drastically decreases, the value of currencies ,trade, standard of living etc in the global south and east will keep improving. BRICS will be the solution for the empowerment of the global majority.
