@cyanidefilledcandy25 жыл бұрын
Really, Kaya's first appearance wasn't that bad. Even on the show, the producers made it be because everyone kept villainizing her and Nicaya for "replacing team members" and Kaya kept saying "we're not trying to replace anyone". And come to find out later in an interview right after that season, the REAL reason she blew up was because the moms were trash talking her when she left the dressing room talking about how she probably couldn't even afford to take class there. And even still, I am very bothered that Kaya gets labelled as a "ghetto black woman" when people like Christi, Yolanda, Kira, and Kelly not only act the same way or worse, but also have actually physically hit people. :/

I don't mind having villians in the show like Cathy, they can be someone you enjoy hating in, as long as they agree just like Cathy and Elliana mother (Yolanda (?) ), But it Is a problem when you make them be villians without they concern and specially when they are kids, who would get a lot of REAL HATE just like Payton. I use to hate her, but i never did something against her and then i saw a video of all the hate she was having. Its no fair for kids to be portayed like that, specially for young ones who would hardly see the difference of the show and reality (just like with little Maddie, she would be portayed like the perfectionist and the brat, and im glad that that didnt affect in her acttitud, that now she Is a little kind and caring child) Thx for the great vídeo and sorry if there Is a setence that its wrong ir something that is not spelled correctly, english Is not my native language

Christy ✝️ was the only whose kid still dances for Abby, The Quinn sisters are extremely talented dancers and have won a multitude of awards kaylee was 11 too old to be in the mini group or a mini division in competition. Jeanette wasn’t a stalker listening to what production said. Kaya was showcased as the loud black ghetto mom.

Through all Kaya and Nicaya went through, they both seem like nice people. And the tweet Nicaya made about Abby and cancer was so nice, despite it all

Thank you for making this. People need to know that reality tv isn’t always reality, and the producers don’t care about accuracy, they care about money.

I'm not in the fandom anymore, but your videos are so informative. It's nice to hear the truth and have situations debunked. All of them deserved so much better.

everyone keeps saying the producers are the villains, but in some ways, i feel the moms are just as guilty. the producers were doing their jobs. albeit, not jobs to be proud of, but they were doing what they had to do to keep the show running. not many of us would've followed this show for so many years if it weren't for all of the drama. the really sad part is how many women were willing to watch their kids be bullied and framed as brats just for fame and money. i have so much respect for leslie for finally putting her foot down and deciding she wasn't allowing this to happen anymore. i also respect christi and kelly for doing the same and getting out of that show once too many lines were crossed. less respect for christi considering she came back, but chloe was old enough by then to make that decision on her own. all of those girls had their childhoods ruined, and that's so devastating. they should've been dancing as a hobby and because they enjoyed it. they shouldnt have been dancing as a job at ages as young as six so they could make money. they were children. i think we forget that they were being verbally abused just to get their families rich.

Even if Kaylee’s scene wasn’t edited I still support her cause she was too much of a mood to hate
@HD-fd7tn4 жыл бұрын
And even if she was being bratty, she was like what 11? She’s around 16 now and still gets hate. It was like 5 minutes of screen time. People need to move on

H D exactly, everyone has their days. Especially as an 11 yr old.

@@HD-fd7tn it's incredibly ridiculous. especially since a lot of the show's fans are very young and very surely are not behaving perfectly 24/7. i wish people would stop judging children in general. Kids cry, kids are annoying, kids are bratty, kids are mean. every single one, and just because for them it was televised, doesn't make them bad people or deserving of anything mean. an 11 y/o rolling their eyes and saying something snarky to their mum? i think the world isn't going to end

I went to school with Ava in middle school before she had switched to online and was doing dance moms. I never really talked to her mom but in our 6th grade year I was in a wheelchair for 6 months and Ava was the one that would push me around because we had 5/6 classes together so it made the most sense. We didn’t rly become friends, but she was always super kind and sweet. I remember specifically idk if my friends weren’t at lunch yet or something but she offered for me to sit with her and the girls at their table which i just remember being really nice. I think she was only there for that one year before transferring/leaving so we were never super close. We had each other on social media back then but haven’t talked since, I hope she’s doing good!

This video really opened my eyes. For a long time, I thought that these people were just as bad and if not worse than the show portrayed them. Now that I did my research and realized things are edited, I know see how these people weren't the villains, but the victims of editing and manipulation by the producers.

It's it me or? The only black woman that was the "villain" and she said she seemed violent, like how? Kinda think you be racist low-key

I’m so happy you made this video. Kiya used to make me so angry, however what she said for people idolizing Abby but being mad when she is told by the producers to criticize the dancers and Abby straight up bullies them and attacks appearances on and off camera with and without production.

When brynn left the show ashley say to the producers...."you think that we're so desperate to be on tv that this matter?" I think there are mothers who definitely are, and doesn't mind risking her daughters in order to gain fame and instagram followers !!! 9 season is comming lol

For me, i dont care what its gonna get my kid. If youre gonna tell me to act like something im not or inevitability abuse my child, its just not gonna happen. Imo theyre only still supportive of her bc they gained "fame"....at the expense of their childs mental health. But yk, just my own opinion. Every kid involved deserves an apology from their parent(s) . I actually used to think the show was ok until i realized i was raised by people who behaved similarly and how fucked up it made me. (Just on a completely different side of it)
