The down-to-earth approach of your channel/vids, combined with a profound technical and aesthetical focus, are a welcome contrast to typical Insta-/TikTok mainstream. Delighted to see you enjoy this car for the same reasons I do. 🙂 Hadn't realized the Bauhaus connection. Thanks, and please keep 'em coming!

Your channel is extremely underrated, and that is an understatement! I've always wanted a TT, and after purchasing my first one finally 20 years later. Your channel and videos have helped me understand my connection and feelings for this car. Your passion for your cars is exactly the way I would do mine if I could. OEM plus is the newer term in the industry, but I've always appreciated subtle changes to help extenuat the cars original design. Keep up the great work from one car enthusiast to another, don't ever stop doing what you love man.

As a "student" of Bauhaus and a fan of Audi, I applaud you on making this seriously great video. Bauhaus truly did make a GLOBAL change in the way we think of and execute design, forever.

thanks for this. i’m more informed about both the car & the bauhaus school after reaching the viddy’s end. i appreciate the inclusion of promo ads that further convey the feeling audi built into the car.

Very interesting video. I've been curious about the design history of the MK1 TT for a while now and you explained it very well. I did not know it was inspired by Bauhaus, but it makes sense that I like its design so much, as I'm very fond of basic and minimal styles. This car has so much elegance, a true icon indeed. You have a pleasant voice and a nice way of presenting your videos. I've just watched a few of them and I've subscribed to the channel. I just bought an MK1 225 and I look forwards to see future videos from you. Keep them coming.

Great video. The TT history is interesting and the car is very underrated at the moment. I believe once people realize how timeless and influential this car is the prices will go up. I daily a 1999 silver 180 fwd since almost a year and I love it. I often get compliments by randoms and no one believes it's a 1999 😊 anyways great content /new subscriber

This is very well done. I have a Mk 1 roadster and have been devouring all of the books and videos I can find on its genesis and design inspiration. Your video digs deeper in the Bauhaus design movement than any I’ve found on KZbin. I’m really enjoying your channel, and I’m also from the Pac NW (Central Oregon). It looks like you are Eastern Washington from your drive arounds?

Hey! Why Chile? @2:35
@HunterDirection2 жыл бұрын
That is a really interesting question! From my research it looks like Latin America was one of the destinations the Bauhaus students/professors fled to after their original school was forced to shut down. I found some pretty interesting articles linking how Bauhaus moved across the world and here is one about Chile that you might find interesting :) www.dw.com/es/la-revoluci%C3%B3n-bauhaus-en-chile/a-42891021 This goes really in depth on how Bauhaus helped shaped some of Chilean design style. It is a fun read :)

@@HunterDirection Thanks a lot, that's way more than expected for an answer. By the way, I never liked the looks of the TT but now I certainly view it with another eyes and appreciate it more. Greetings from Chile :)
