How the Wurlimagic Brain on the 1500 and 1500A works

The Wurlitzer 1500,1550 and 1500A were the only Jukeboxes to play both 10" 78's and 7" 45's intermix. There was no need to make any changes to play both on one machine. The machine used a mechanical linkage that used the difference in the center hole size of the records. That difference allowed the turntable shaft to lift higher on the 45 and make the change in speed.
