Thank you for your channel and useful info! Xtrail t30 owner, but was stupid enough to buy qr2.0de engine.... Was really surprised that xtrail can actually tow something, as during last trip on the mountain/hill area had difficulties worth forward advance up the hill, 2.0 engine struggled on its own... 😢 Have also lpg installed, as this type of fuel really cheap at my place.... 170k km, 2006. Left wheel, Japan made vehicle. Thank you again for sharing!

You're welcome. Yes I'd imagine the 2.0 engine will struggle.

NZ here. I looked into stiffer rear springs for my t31 but could only find lowering springs. My rear was sagging bad!!

I lived in NZ for nearly 10yrs and know that options there are limited. Try King springs and Pedders.

Thanks for the overview on towing. I have a 2008 T31. It has 2.0l diesel and 6-speed auto, with a maximum tow rating of 1350kg. I'm thinking of towing a light camper, maybe around 1000kg. Any thoughts on that?

Cheers. 1000kg would be a perfect match. You'd be in a better position being a diesel too. Good low end torque and better efficiency.

Thank for the very i formative video, you made valuable tips. I own a 2004 qr20de xtrail with lpg done every necessary servise like you mentioned beefore and the average consumption is 14l / 100km. Does this sound normal to you?

No worries. That sounds quite high especially for a 2L engine. How many kms on the clock? What size tyres?

Yes is a 2l engine with OEM size tyres and almost 300k km

​@@IsPir-e9f that is quite high consumpsion. If you haven't yet, I would consider replacing the fuel injectors. It might be too late for just an injector cleaner. With that high mileage, it might be worth replacing them.

For more than 90% of the time I use it on LPG. Since I mount the LPG has done like 100k km now

Hi Marvin, I have a question, the radiator fans should be spin at the same time? for my car I can see only the passenger side spins

Not necessarily. One fan normally kicks in a bit later once the thermostat kicks in (temp goes up). Also connected to A/C. Try to sit it idle for a while when the engine is warm and at some point you should see the second fan kick in.

Yes but personally I wouldn't. Just don't want to risk it. I've seen people do it no issues though. That's just my opinion.
