I've said it before but without the alterhuman community I wouldn't have survived 2022. I am forever grateful for that

Therianthropy came to us as a gift during our darkest hours. The community helped us so much, and knowing these experiences are normal helped so much.

Therianthropy came to me in my darkest days, I was sh all the time and bed rotting. I would feel slight shifts all the time but was too depressed and tired to do research. But once I saw therianthropy become more popular I decided to do more research on that topic, feeling some sort of hope I can find an explanation on what I have been feeling. Once I realized I was a therian and came out as one, my life changed. I felt so myself, happy. Therianthropy changed my life and made me feel so at home with myself. I’m living my life now happily, I got my life together, I got friends and joined the alterhuman community.

Discovering the Alterhuman community has given us a lot of comfort in knowing that we're not alone or the only 'weird' person who experiences these things. The community has also introduced us to plurality, which has helped us in many ways

Finding the community helped me get through the beginning of 2022 and later in life. I found your channel, then I found Autumn J, then I joined the Discord server. And a lot of little awakenings and different things in-between. Your channel helped me a lot to understand this deep and complex concept of what is an alterhuman identity. And ofc, still does. Autumn J's music made me to look at my life differently. "Alive" were playing when I were looking at the sky outside of the bus window. When chorus started, something just... hit me and I started crying. I want to see what this life can give me. I don't want to end it all. My mental state makes me feel like I'm not living, like I'm just constantly waiting for something. But I want to be truly alive. And a discord server. It just such a nice place. I think it was my first and for now the only safespace. Non-toxic, accepting atmosphere there really made me think: "That's how people can communicate?? It's so cool! Why we need all of the judging all the time T T" Unfortunately it's to crowded for me, but simply knowing what a lovely place like this exist warms my heart. Currently my mental health is getting worse, unfortunately, because of my other problems and my social isolation, but I hope I will eventually get out of it at some point.❤

It has definitely been beneficial for my mental health, but that being said, I also unfortunately have species dysphoria :’) I’m still learning about myself, and knowing these things about me makes me happy, and it makes it easier for me to understand myself

So far, my therian and otherkin identities have been a positive thing. One of my boyfriends is a catkin like I am and it helps to connect. Some of these therian things are also really fun! And figuring things out about myself helps me know where to go from that point. As for my satyrkin identity, it reminds me to let loose, to dance more, and that nature is good for me. It helps me not be so anxious constantly. However, when it comes to therian content, I am completely addicted, but that's more of a phone thing. I'm also worried about expressing these identities to others and that they won't accept me for it.
