It’s obvious that they used the same locomotive, except that in BTTF III, the old No. 3 was relettered and repainted to Central Pacific 131, and was given a diamond stack, which was very common on several early steam locomotives in the United States during the 1800s.

The movie featuring Amtrak locomotives is called “Garfield.” About the T1 whistle, you’re very welcome. Third, the original movie didn’t dub the 587’s whistle in the scene where it blows the whistle, but there’s no whistle sound! So I thought I’d fix that by dubbing it in. Something the sound editors from that movie should’ve done back then.

2:19 I think the whistle for 25 is wrong. In hey Arnold 25 was based of an N&W K-1 4-8-2. While i'm not exactly sure which whistle they used i think it was a lower pitch than what's in the video. good stuff none the less.

For filler. My sincere apologies. Actually, the real reason is that the train horn was dubbed in the same scene, even though they dubbed the train whistle literally a few seconds ago. So I decided to take it up a notch and used this whistle instead.

What you could have done was just keep the original whistle and then change the horn to a whistle from kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4bRdJ97bdJ_pLM. (Either that or make the same whistle into a doppler edit.)@@T128Productions
