Nonsense. First, that was a Milwaukee Road 4-4-2 “Atlantic” type steam locomotive. Second, that’s ridiculous. Sodor Fallout? Really? Third, I do believe they really were equipped with an air horn back in the 1930s, but I don’t know if they were equipped with a steam whistle, but I might be wrong about that.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Astrotrain, the triple changer from the Transformers season 2 (1985). His locomotive form was a D-62, a Japanese 2-8-4/"Berkshire" type steam locomotive. On the 2 episodes he uses his horn, it's a BNSF-sounding Diesel horn. (Nathan?)
