Yeah I hate the lack of transparency with videos like this. 6 million is great but buying the product, grading fees, building fees, etc etc etc.. and with such low margins on so many of these cards.. I’d love to see how much actual profit they make.

Considering they have like 15 people on payroll, I’d say they’re doing pretty good
@KK-pm7ud2 ай бұрын
If their cost numbers are correct, I wouldn't be surprised if the two of them clear about a million in profit per year together. However, the challenge is that if the market turns, that profit of a million can turn into a loss of a million quickly.
@miatheimmortal2 ай бұрын
@@PMTCards if you make 6mil revenue you are making money. We have one of the bigger TCG stores in Europe and we made just a bit over 5mil this year. Our clean net averages around 13,7% This includes 10 employees, 3 Locations,taxes and everything you can imagine. As you mentioned above, small margins on cards and product gets compensated with sheer amount you a re able to sell. I can tell you there are some stores in EU that easily make 10s of milions p.a. This is one of the very few businesses where your margin goes up the more you do. Sure its very competetive space and requires a chunky investment and expertise in more than just cards, but it is very viable and profitable if you have what it takes.

@@KK-pm7ud kind of, anthony rivera, their biggest tiktok streamer mentioned in the video, does mystery boxes for $199/box, 50 boxes with 10 box "chases" that range $200-$2000, 9 of those chases will be in the 200-600 range with one being in the 2000 range. while the other 40 boxes "floors" will be valued at $10-$30. insane profit margin that also gives people a chance at a card they otherwise wouldn't be able to get.

@@KK-pm7ud so roughly 5000 net profit each 50 boxes they do, which he used to sell a new 50 boxes every stream but it's been taking him a week+ to do 50 boxes the last few months. theyve been pushing the new boxes that are $30 that have a 1/500 chance of a card worth $30-100 but average 7-15 for every other box. much more lucrative on their side lol

@KK-pm7ud2 ай бұрын
They make $6 million in revenue. The word "make" has no meaning in business or accounting. It is clear their net income or operating profit will be significantly less than $6 million this year. Although, their revenue this year might be higher or lower than $6 million because the November and December months are the most seasonally strong parts of the year generally.
@RandomVideosWithRandomMusic2 ай бұрын
@KK-pm7ud I'm afraid u don't seem to understand @le_med 's point here. He's pointing out the lack of transparency in these "entrepreneurs", stating that they "make" $6.2 Millions, which is obviously just their revenue. What is their net profit? Why aren't they revealing that? I'm not being a hater on them, but scammers could be "making" $6.2M, but spending $6M on the operating costs (or even more). Thus, a well aware individual will never fall for these people lacking transparency. It is in fact dangerous as they could negatively influence the younger generation On a hindsight, the real rich people don't reveal how much they earn😊

$6M * 15% (realistic) = $900k gross profit = $700k net profit. I am saying 15% gross profits because moving $6M, they are probably more focus on volume rather that margin. Therefore, they risk margin, but they have volume so it doesn't matter. I don't doubt with their connections and how they buy in large bulks and deals, they probably make 20-25% gross profit. So over $1M in gross profits. You're welcome.

The average person gets there through years of hard work and some luck. These guys clearly have connections and took some risks. This is the good times. What you don't see is the potential risk of bad times. If you want to understand the business, search for Alpha Investments' channel and look for Rudy's videos on how to run a card store or his stories on how card stores are having troubles. My suggestion is to focus on making as much money as you can by making yourself more technically proficient. This kind of business is hard and very risky. And it requires a lot of capital or some edge. Like connections or celebrity.
