Yes, this is a common thing in village asking the guest to have something. I'm from a village. Sometime I feel little odd when my mother ask the guest to eat when there is no food in the house. I asked mother about it and she said that she would manage someway. Yes this is our culture. But now there is a major changes in the society. Surprising guest comes rarely because everyone is busy with their life. Todays guests comes with preplanned.

You can be easily mistaken to think these villagers as poor. The riches of the city millionaires are the true poor by heart. The village folk have the hearts of gold. We once lost our way similarly and ended up in a unknown village. It was getting dark so they gave us food to eat and shelter to sleep. All for free! They even called a car mechanic from a nearby city for us! Poverty and misery are two different things.

Actually , We Indians had always been rich in money as well as in giving humble respect. Then , britishers came here & took away all the money as much as was possible but this sense of showing fraternity to every citizen of india. Even their grandfathers were not able to take this away from us ! One thing we always been lacking in is Warship , We 're peaceful community But mistakenly most of us have presumed that all the people of India & around the world will be like us.

Matter village in Karnatak is also Sanskrit speaking.Our villagers may be less educated but are full of wisdom & warmth. Also wish to share the similarity between Sanskrit & polish numerals-I mean just check-The pronunciation of 1 to 10 of both languages have great similarity.

Have been on this way from Gwalior to Indore quite 7-8 times, 4-5 times to Ujjain, perhaps 2 times full to Indore, twice till Sarangpur, just before Shajapur, Biaora is just 40-50 kilometers prior to Sarangpur. I have got a good idea about it. Our family is originally from Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh (paternal village), while maternal village is in Etawah district of UP, but my father works in Madhya Pradesh Health Department, hence posted in Northernmost District Bhind of Madhya Pradesh. So, I have grown up and educated till 12th completely in Madhya Pradesh, have lived in Gwalior for three years, preparing for Engineering Entrance and currently doing Engineering in Greater Noida, as we decided to remain domicile citizens of Uttar Pradesh. The language is same mixture of Braj and Bundeli with varying ratios all over the Gwalior-Chambal region of MP, in southern areas, Maalavi gets mixed as well. so it is familiar to me. I guess this village was in Guna district. By the way, best wishes for your journey 🙏!
