What's life like for a foreigner in an Indian village? How does my Indian family treat me? Well, today was special because my sister-in-law organised a surprise trip for me! Watch and learn all about life in an Indian village.

Reminds me of my childhood in Haryana. We would bathe in tubewell. Would go out to pick ber and cucumbers in the wild and sometimes would come across snakes as well. Memories!. I have also spent a lot of time at my nani's house in Hansi, right near Karl's Sasural, Bhaiji da Hotel Wala Road. Hansi is very close to my heart.

The visual quality of this is really outstanding. Did you get a new camera? Very well done. Beautiful family. Several years ago I visited a village called Boodha Kedar, four hours up into the mountains of Uttarakhand from Srinagar. I found it on a trekking map. There was a little hotel and I was shown around by the son of the village Pujari. He said as far as he knew I was the first American to visit there in ten years. If you are friendly and open hearted you will most likely be welcomed.
