Hi, nice video! At 7:10 you say something about that foreigner who has to register (?) I don't understand Hindi (I'm a foreigner too). So please tell me in English, what happened there? As a foreigner I don't need inner line permit for Srinagar-Leh road, right?

Hi, thanks for your appreciation, as a foreigner you need an inner line permit to travel on that road, but you don't have to worry about it. It's the responsibility of the driver you're travelling with. So you need to buy a bus ticket and travel with it, the driver will do all the things for you in that bus journey. He will register you at the checking points (While entering to Ladakh from Kashmir , in Kargil and near Nimmo ) He will stop the bus and tell you that you have to register yourself here, so you don't have to worry about it but keep in mind, you have to register yourself and maybe you have to pay for Inner Line Permit so keep all the valid documents with you like your passport and visa

If I only travel on the main highways (Srinagar to Leh and Leh-Manali) without going to protected areas like Pangong, I thought I don't need an Inner Line Permit. Right? In 2019 I also traveled from Srinagar to Leh and I didn't need any permit. Or are there new rules?

@@rv2483 Sorry I am not sure about it .... but you need to fill a simpal form that as a foreigners you are travelling to Ladakh ... this is an easy process as driver will do that on all the checkpost for you
