Living here in the State, wake up early in the morning, going to work and coming back home eat and sleep, very boring, homeless people everywhere. Most of the are not friendly, a lot of people are lonely because of that, most eat junk food, smoke and addicted to hard liquor. But anytime going home in Ghana, I felt relief

The gentleman spoke the truth about America- often times you tell Ghanaians about the reality of living in america and how you are caught in a bubble of just working working working -- no life all that money is going to paying bills. You rarely have any money saved - very stressful lifestyle and no happiness but they dont get it. America have done a good job with their media by misleading people that is heaven

Coming from the Tropics. I can honestly tell you America is difficult. You have to work harder than other and you may have to work six days maybe more to survive. Your family don’t really appreciate it as they do not see your efforts as you are always working, gone, or absent. I would say it’s fair to say that you would have to live here to see what I mean.

Thank you for bringing Mr. Jason Simmons on your platform. My sympathies about the loss of your loving parents and may their souls rest in peace. I am happy to hear of the Diaspora moving to the motherland. I agree with what you said about life out in the west. The cost of living is just too high and working round the clock. I wish people on the motherland knew how kind and good the motherland is. Sunny, social life is very alive, peace of mind, healthy food etc

I have a similar story with this Jason. My mom and my dad both passed away 6 months apart. My father was in a nursing home, but my mom moved in with my sister, and when she was almost at the end, she wanted to go home, so my sister moved in with her and stayed with her until she passed away. And I also ended up in Ghana. Not related to their passing, but just coincidental. I wonder where brother Jason is. I think I'd like to break bread with him over a cup of coffee. I used to live in DC as well. I have an apartment in Adjiringanor. I've been here for about 2 months. Not much time though because my work life here is exactly like it was in America. I work 7 days a week. I from the south. Is African really the future? I don't think so. The potential is there the missing ingredient is unity. Same as with black folks all over the world. If we solve that issue and truly understand that we all sink or swim together then we can build up Ghana the way China built itself up.
@nappiebriggs Жыл бұрын
Wow I can’t wait to meet you, you really have an interesting story as well hope we will have great time to share this! Can we make a date ?
