all i know is when the film came out, every one i knew were offended by lively's behavior. when asked about the film, she instead promoted her own products and actively avoided talking about the film's message on dv.

The lawsuit will show you that the actors were actually ordered to promote the movie that way by Sony. She didn't come up with that idea, it was part of the contract all the actors signed. What I do find interesting is that Baldoni promoted the movie differently but he's also backed by Sony executive which makes me wonder if the whole thing was planned to trap Lively.

You can’t play the damsel in distress and simultaneously make boss moves and have people not scratch their heads. RR apparently pushed out a director, too. Seems calculated.

@@talitam.8414 no, all evidence shows th BL used her position and power to pressure the studios to do what she wanted. She had demands after demands, and was given concessions after concessions. Demands that were above her scope as an actress, but demands she felt she was entitled to because she felt she was better than the rest.

I watchted from the first article to the whole lawsuit with Emily D Baker this week. And this is a big throw him (Justin) under the bus PR control stunt. The fact that sony played a part in it to give her control is just insain.

Blake is just upset that she can't bankrupt Justin into giving in because he has deep pockets helping fund his defense. I'm sure that Blake & Ryan Reynolds are upset because they were hoping that stealing IEWU from Justin would be as easy as stealing Dead Pool. She's probably furious with Leslie Sloan because Justin's PR team is doing a better job than her PR team. Blake wants to gaslight us into believing SHE'S the victim but shows up with ZERO receipts. It looks like Blake is lying & is trying to ruin a man's career over petty vindictiveness, greed, & delusion.

If Baldoni ever went independent and crowd fund, I'm sure there'll be plenty of support behind him. I've never heard of JB unlike BL due to adverts for the tv series which I've never watched...sorry can't recall the title where she played Serena. In many interviews, she comes across as quite catty, dismissive and not a very nice person.

She filed her complaint the 30th and The NY Times magically had a whole “investigative” article piece two days later ? Her time line for her complaint makes no sense how could he have been retaliating against her for her complaint which wasn’t filed till the 30th and no one knew of it besides who she leaked it to at the nytimes clearly several days before filing it, so how could he be retaliating against her for her complaint

Actually, Lively had filed the lawsuit in NY on Dec. 30th. Before that, she had filed her complaint in California on Dec. 20th. So the NY Times magically had a whole "investigative" article piece ready THE NEXT DAY. Baldoni had been contacted at 9:45pm, Friday, Dec. 20th and told he had until 12 noon the following day, Saturday, to respond. The NYT published 2 hours earlier than that deadline on Saturday the 21st and had cherry picked through his response in a manner that was beneficial to Lively.

​@@88vfw I am having a hard time believing BL. And I try but with all the facts we have so far, especially the text messages, it's difficult... There must be something we don't know that BL lawyers have not put out yet. It HAS to be because with what we have she looks like she is the one who is doing the smearing against JB because of the backlash she received after the promotion of personal products (even if she did not set up the promotion talking points, although I don't see why promoting her beauty products line and her beverage brand would be added in the strategy - she probably pushed for that) and the questionable behavior displayed in old interviews about it.

@@88vfw All evidence shows the SH claims were so not based on facts but the narrative she painted. She categorized a home birth that the director wanted her to take note of as "porn". That's an example of her characterization of SH. If that's the case, PBS has exposed SA all of us, hundreds of us were SA watching a natural birth in high school.

I think Wayfarer will do well considering their movies are cost little to make compared to the blockbuster films by the major studios. They made a HUGE profit with IEWS, $315 million for a $25 M film. IMO, this is what the scandal may really be about. RR and BL want the movie rights to the sequel and the author (that traitor) has become bffs with BL. Someone said RR offered JB millions for the rights but was turned down and that there was a moral clause linked to the film which may be one of the reasons BL filed a lawsuit.
