Jo jo Britains craziest worm loving woman !! That’s 100% a myth. Cracking your knuckles is completely unrelated to arthritis in any way. It’s just annoying to other people🥴🤷🏻‍♀️😅 You may have done that as a younger person, but you didn’t cause your arthritis so don’t blame yourself for that.

Jo jo Britains craziest worm loving woman !! Agreed!! I cannot STAND mouth noises! Idk how people watch muk-bangs🤢 It makes me nauseous to watch and honestly gives me a special kind of rage to experience, but I wouldn’t go as far as to say I have full blown misophonia🤣🤣 I promise I won’t actually punch anyone(: Thank you for the kind words tho I’m not quite a girl anymore ;) at heart for sure, but in actual years? I’m 39! I also have early onset osteoporosis-arthritis due to auto-immune function coupled with a nasty degenerative bone condition caused by medication to treat Crohn’s disease😑 I also use a combo of medical marijuana and CBD to control pain and help w the Crohn’s and while I’m happy to say that my intestinal issues are no longer, I’m still saddled with 5 (more) joints that need replacing(had my right shoulder done already) and the complete and utter destruction of my life plan but I’m fine everything’s fine!!🤣🤣Parents aren’t the only liars in the bunch😕

Jo jo Britains craziest worm loving woman !! Honestly if I’d have been born just 10 years later I may not be disabled right now. However I wouldn’t change what’s happened to me for anything at this point unless I knew I’d become the exact person I am now...sans perhaps the wicked CPTSD and serious trust issues. 😅😅🥴I just know this experience has helped to shape me into a much more compassionate and self-aware person and I don’t know if I’d have liked who I became without these circumstances. Maybe...but I don’t think so🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, the Tinder guy who told you he wanted to ‘bend you over something’ is such a softhearted soul who must ‘really like you’ and care about you as a person. This is so wrong. You got played really badly. They misrepresented what your video was about and tried to assassinate your character. I hope you didn’t agree to let them release it. Let them lose their time and money. This is extremely predatory practice.

It depends what exactly was said in the contract though. If you sign it without reading all the legal speak correctly (and understanding what you're signing), you don't have a leg to stand on, unfortunately. I used to manage myself and negotiate all my own contracts, so I had to read them from end to end (mine were quite a few pages long). Had the show gone out and it caused negative consequences due to deceit, then it may be another thing entirely. THEN there would definitely be a case!

@@lindatannock unfortunately we will never know as she didn't even bother to read the first sentence much less the whole contract. As a young lady with brains please tell these...humans...the importance of reading things before signing. And how if you neglected to read something that is your bad not a manipulation of someone who just handed you a play by play of everything that's going on. I applaud you Linda, thank you for using your brain instead of neglecting your responsibility to due diligence and for being an accountable young lady these two and the people that liked this moronic comment would be wise to listen to you.

Antagonizist Xunt She mentioned she did read the contract, her mother even read the contract. But, that BBC channel never told the truths. Many people had been catfished through it. One girl was catfished by being told that she was going to be in a show about plastic surgery. In the end they shamed her, by using a person who ended up getting a Botched surgery. The contract didn’t state the show name specifically.

Antagonizist Xunt okay lol why you gotta be so aggressive about it.. she mentioned she read the contract but didn’t read it properly but that doesn’t mean she was lied to by the bbc? Yes maybe that means that she won’t be able to sue the bbc but she can’t take full accountability for something she was lied to about. Why you gotta insult everyone to make your point more valid? @Linda Tannock did it in a very civilised manner that perhaps you could learn from.

Hey girl, just found your video and instantly subbed, I had such a similar experience with a huge tv network in the UK last summer, I’m a very small beauty blogger and I was contacted and asked by a production company to come to London all expenses paid to shoot with them for a documentary they told me was about ‘the beauty standards women face in today’s society’ like you, I was incredibly excited and travelled all the way from Scotland to film with them. Once I got there I was to sign a contract similar to yours (not allowed to slander the tv network etc) and the doc was about something completely different and was asked very intimate questions about my body, sex life etc. The director tried to get me to say a lot of things that I didn’t want to, and after I got home I was so embarrassed and afraid to be aired on national tv talking about everything that I managed to get them to take my part in the doc out. I only answered the questions they asked as I felt so pressured by them since they paid etc and lured me under false pretences. The doc has come out in the last couple of weeks on tv and I’m so glad i am not a part of it. I’m very tempted to make a similar video to yours exposing the truth to warn other small influencers about this industry. I’m so sorry this happened to you and well done for speaking out! I’ll be a loyal subscriber to you always! 💕

She didn't even read the first paragraph of the contract before signing. If she would have none that she would have known what she was getting herself into. It's called being an adult. She needs to take her accountability, learn her lesson and move on. They gave het a contract. Contracts sole purpose is to spell out everything. She neglected to read any of it. How can anyone with even half a brain cell call that manipulative? If you're really so immature you think all the blame is on the TV network (aka one of the most evil corporations the planet) you have a lot of growing up to do. Be smart and learn from her mistakes, read contracts before you sign. Ask even one question . Use your fuking brain.
@graceisadisgrace8625
@graceisadisgrace8625 5 жыл бұрын
Antagonizist Xunt while I agree that it was a grave mistake on her part not to have read the contract in full before signing it, you cannot argue that the *insert tv network* is innocent here and that she should take one hundred percent of the blame for getting herself into this situation. Regardless of what was stated in the contract, said network took it upon themselves to contact and corresponded with her under the guise that they found her video entertaining and simply wanted her to partake in a segment for their KZbin channel about online dating - this turned out not to be entirely true, and whether or not you want to blame her for signing the contract, she was still fed false information by this network for the purposes of persuading her to take part, which in my eyes constitutes a type of manipulation. This was their way of luring her into partaking in something she obviously would not have agreed to partake in had the nature of it been fully disclosed from the outset. Before you rush to accuse others of being immature, why not take a second to consider both sides of the argument and look at it from her perspective. Your apparent inability to do so indicates that perhaps you are not as mature as you would like to think you are.

the problem is that since the love island suicides, jessy nelson documentary and similar concerns about mental health, the TV industry is going completely overboard on the whole 'social media, catfishing, trolling etc ruins peoples lives' angle without actually realising that its not that simple. it not only shows a complete misunderstanding of mental health issues (as demonstrated by the fact they invited you down and lied to you which could have seriously affected your own mental health), but also trivialises the problem in a way that doesn't actually address or resolve it. i've worked in tv before and i have never in my life seen a level of ignorance and misunderstanding like it. these are privileged, self-centered people who literally have no understanding or concept of other people's feelings. i'm sorry you went through this crap.

As someone who works in TV, I'm ashamed to say this fairly normal where the content is controversial. This is the reason why I don't work on this type of show because I don't like the deception involved. I only work on shows where the contributors are aware of what's going on. Now, I don't know the people involved in this show (and I've check out who they are!) but often for this type of show, they will actively seek out people who are young and seemingly naive who will agree to it to get themselves on TV and get more exposure. They steer away from more experienced people who would be more hesitant to agree to it. It's an awful way to operate, and again, another reason why I never work on those types of productions. Some advice for anyone who may be approached by a company in the future (and apologies if you did this, but you didn't mention it in your video), if you go the the website of the production company making the programme, they will always list the shows they have made in the past which will give you some clue over the type of content they produce. In this case, this company has made a show about Fake Homeless people which would have run alarm bells for me. Also, I just want to defend the BBC because they likely didn't have any involvement in this. The production company may have reported to the BBC what was going on, but the decisions made and how you were treated was all down to the production company and their team, and not by the BBC. I also wonder why the first guy who contacted you left??? Did he not like the content he was producing? I know plenty of people who have left productions because they didn't like the way the company was operating.

Your letter to them was brilliant! The use of the word lure was perfect in the context and if any entity of the dynamic they were trying to create for that show was guilty of catfishing... it was solely the producers. As far as I’m concerned, there were 2 victims of catfishing they were interviewing that day and I’m sorry they put you through that. There are great producers who have authentic entertaining content at the end of the day... then there are the gross- who rely on deceit, manufactured drama, and clever editing to get eyes on their content. The type that make more and more compromises along the way until their content degrades into Jerry Springer territory. I’m so glad you caught on early and held your ground!! Very wise for someone so young...and I think it is great that you are sharing this experience as a cautionary tale for other young creators who might be too blinded by excitement to realize that they are being set up to play the fool. You handled this with such grace! The disappointment might be overwhelming at present but in time I hope you feel nothing but pride in your response to it all... with a touch of amused disgust for that deceitful production team lol!

And anyone watching any of your videos would see what a lovely person you are and that you don't deserve this kind of treatment. On your side completely! 💖

I CANNOT believe that you went through all this. If anyone posts a negative comment on this video, they’re insane. The company should be facing the consequences themselves, and I sincerely hope that they will. I’m so sorry that you had to go through something like this. I truly hope that this video blows up so that it can make other people aware, in case they’re ever in a similar situation with said network (or any other company, for that matter). I don’t feel as though you got ANY justice from this situation, and they’ll probably continue to do that unsuspecting people. I can’t tell you enough how much I hope this video sweeps the internet. Thank you for sharing your story, and I hope more genuine opportunities come your way. You’re an incredibly strong girl who has an EXTREMELY bright future. ❤️❤️❤️

The girl who was interviewing behind the camera is shameful, this is why tv is lost. Grubs wanting to be in the room to get gossip and knowing she was tricking you with no concern for your safety or mental effects of her actions.

Your video was about seeing if you attract people physically with editing- purely physical and no promise of an emotional connection or relationship further than a swipe right. I think that these types of videos with themes of editing are important to diminish the idea that people are as they seem online. Editing is an entire epidemic on its own and people are easily influenced to believe that they aren't good enough or comparable to others online. It's important to see how people can so easily morph themselves and it makes people online more relatable :) Totally different than being catfished into a relationship and stealing someone's identity. I'm sorry this happened and made you feel so uncomfortable!!

You sound like such a sweet and genuine person and hopefully the girl who had that experience with the twitter catfish saw that, too. Again I can't even begin to imagine how decieved and disappointed you must have felt. Thanks for sharing your experience with us, I think it's very important that people share these kinds of stories for the rest to see, because it raises awareness and it might save someone else from ending up in the same or very similar situation, because of having seen your video and other videos on similar things. I had been on a show back when I was 16 and it was for a panel of us girls who were virgins and so we talked about how we felt pressured or people would treat us differently or guys not being interested in us due to wanting to wait. It was so cool at first but then They said I could bring my friend who had lost hers and was active. The host asked her a question and she was nervous so her answer was worded wrong and so the host made it out like she was telling me to "just do it". The whole audience were shaking their heads and making noise and the host even made it feel awkward. So my friend sat there so sad I could feel it. She bawled in the green room to one of the producers and she literally begged them to not show that because it's not what she meant and she was so embarrassed. The producer was saying they would and they didnt do shit. they left it in there and it hurt her so bad. It was cool to be able to have that experience but it sucked that my friend got hurt. They are all for views. And they will lie to be able to get them!

This is outrageous honestly. Thats like someone making a food challenge video and them claiming the person is unhealthy for eating pink food everyday or something. You should make a formal complaint as it might happen to other people, they are total liars and scammers basically. I'm glad you realized before they used the footage and anyone could watch it, basically they missed the point of your video completely and show how easy it is to potray someone different than they are.

I think that you were treated very badly, the only good thing to come out of it is that you now know what NOT to do, and that’s a valuable lesson. Be positive about everything that happens in your life, it all goes to make you the person that you are, and will become. I’m 69 and some of the things in my life haven’t been good, but I don’t regret any of them. Good luck 😉

It's very impressive how articulate and poised you remained after being so ruthlessly blindsided. How ludicrous is it that industry professionals would resort to such underhanded tactics to sabotage someone who is diligently trying to establish a positive online presence & kickstart her career by creating thought-provoking content? You were clearly open about your intentions and it is obvious that you were genuinely interested in starting a dialogue about a controversial subject -not become one! There are plenty of worthy targets who would jump at the chance to brag about their ill-intentioned online exploits and mock their innocent victims. What motive could there be in sabotaging your efforts by painting you as a villain, except for malice? This kind of shock-tactic is usually employed by tabloid media (or so we thought). Maybe they were desperate to hijack your

I think this approach is quite common for TV networks. Someone I knew signed up for a speed dating event- turns out it was arranged by a TV network. They got in touch with him and said that they would like to film the event, that there would be some disabled women also taking part, and would that be okay? He thought it sounded great- the show was portrayed as being a positive, empowering show for women with disabilities and he was looking forward to being involved. When he got there the women who were taking part were not all disabled- instead the focus was more on women in the dating scene who did not fit into the “traditional” model of beauty (some had disabilities, some extreme body modifications, bearded lady, etc.) He felt attacked- the women were not interested in dating, and would just ask him what he thought of their disability, or “do you think I’m ugly?” “Would you ever date a bearded lady?” “Why do you think people like you won’t date people like me?” Etc. He was very upset by the whole thing and asked that he not be in the show.
