@@gonewiththewynns Thank you for your 'Call of Duty' for the Animals Fiji, it's wonderful news for all us animal lovers! It's absolutely fantastic what the internet can muster, the same went out to Patrick Childress' need while he was sick with COVID-19 and the GOFUNDME exceeded all expectations but he sadly passed away here in South Africa and we are all saddened by it. A few years ago I lost 2 really great cats in 2 months. One, Charlie, just vanished. I walked all over town looking for her & by doing so reunited many lost cats with their humans. Months in, I got a call late at night about a cat & I went to check it out. It was dark, & hoping this was Charie, I brought him home. So I met Leon, who was a mess. Malnourished, he looked to be a year or two. The vet guessed him to be 17. Leon was so happy to be saved he loved us up for the last glorious year of his life. Charlie, for her part, saved many cats most of all Leon, & our broken heart was distracted while it healed. Maybe Cleo had a hand in saving Pip & many other cats & you, with Pip's love. Never underestimate a cat.

You could have holed up in your refuge, felt sorry for yourselves and done nothing for others. Instead you saw a dying animal, saved it and, with humanity and charity, have now worked with other animal lovers to save dozens and dozens of animals. Your reward will be memories of Pip lifting your spirits through dark times and a legacy of life-affirming kindness. Pretty cool.

*June 16 Update* : Within 36 hours of this video going live a lovely family adopted Pip! They've shared a few photos of little pipsqueak in total bliss sprawled out on the sofa (We'll re-share on our Insta). They had recently lost their family cat to old age and they absolutely adored Pip's personality. We're happy to say Pip has a new FUR-EVER Home and she is 100% happy. A huge thank you to EVERYONE for their support and love 😍😻🐱🏍 June 14: oh man, what an outpouring of love, tears and thanksgiving. We are so grateful that we found Pip in the market that day. That little monster exploded into our hearts and we needed her as much as she needed us. For those trying to hold back the tears (like we are) maybe this will help you shed a few tears of laughter. It's one of our favorite old TV shows: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6G5hZKjq9uNgtE Thank you to everyone that watched, donated to Animals Fiji and helped us take the lemons life threw at us and make a fresh sparking lemonade! 💗💕🥰😍 Yes, that much love from both of us. You two are inspiring. So many of us would have just "waited out" the time in Fiji without doing much. Certainly not cleaning up beaches, rescuing forlorn animals, or raising money for a shelter. So many of us would have just said: "It's just a temporary stop, hope to leave soon, not my home, not my problem." But you two dove in, engaged, and made a difference. You are a good example of the fact that everyone can help someone, somewhere, at anytime. Bravo.

To LOVE another human can be hard. To LOVE all animals is fur easier (yes, spelled fUr). Fur babies don't ask for much. Food, water and your attention makes them happy. And the return from them is furever (again, fUr.....LOL). I, personally, am more of a dog person, but, love them all. Had to (yes, HAD to) hold 4 of my babies at their end and remember them all...... with love. My present baby is a Bichon Frise. Her name is Malibu (I'm a So. Cal native). Her nickname is Boo. She's a character (like Pip) and my bestest buddy. You two take care (of each other also) and soon you'll be back "home".......

I watching you since you driving RV. We love your sailing show. We our self work all over the world, we have two cats, bringing them in much more difficult country’s you do, or ever done, we know the costs, the trouble that can make! We kind of understood you decision with the last cats, but still, even that... it was wrong to let them behind ! To get this new cat used to you and now giving her up, is making everything you done for that Cait void! Look, we live in the Bahamas, but we in Germany now, figure out if the cat can be send to Frankfurt Airport and we take her! She will also live on a boat and travel with one other Cat, so she will have a spoiled and exceptional life. Please guys, don’t think you help a Animal without making a commitment, you could have paid the bills for her without getting her used to have a family, you could helped getting her adopted...however, we love you guys, but I had for the first time in 5 years the need to comment and let you know. Send her here, we will adopt her! (If you write back I give you my contacts) best Thomas

Some were with us for quite a while, some only a short time. We keep telling ourselves that we won't get another as I have now lost my job and expenses as they got older were quite large. Mostly the heartbreak when we had to have them put down was the deciding factor in not getting another. My wife is now putting out some biscuits for a couple of others that are hanging around so....................... Take care everyone.

Four years ago, whilst on holiday on the Spanish island of Mallorca, I came across a tiny feral kitten and fell in love. When the week was over, I was heartbroken to leave her at the villa we had been staying at, I cried most of flight home! But I was determined to see her again, and it was my mission to rescue her. I knew I could give her the safe, loving home that she deserved. I eventually found a rescue organisation willing to help me, and two months later she was on a plane to the UK. She has changed my life, and it is an incredible feeling knowing that I have changed hers 😊

Y'all just took living + adventure travel + sailing + KZbin-ing to the next level. I think you also just discovered your purpose, a beautiful gift during the crises that are challenging us to all to listen with more intent and to think before we speak. THANK YOU.

I promised myself I wouldn't cry. But when I saw that you raised over $20,000 I couldn't stop. You guys and your followers are awesome. I hope you can go home soon.
