I know I'm doing my part and somebody appreciates it. I have 14 cats already and am more than willing to take a kitty cat in need. I turned my garage into a mega cat hotel with heat, beds, food, water, toys, giant scratching hotels and litter boxes. I get them all fixed when found so they all have their shots. Amazingly they all come back before night falls. Never had one run away, they all stay on my property. Pretty sure they know where home is. I love all of them unconditionally. and YES, I always try to find their owners first. Thank you for doing the job you do. I appreciate it.

Many thanks to Rick and Giselle for this amazing video. We need more stories like this one to showcase the good Wings of Rescue and others are doing. Rick and his crew are true humanitarians. It is so sad and maddening at what corporations are doing to the veterinary practices. My hubby and I have 6 pets and they are our priority . It is our obligation and our pleasure to take care of them. They are our children only with fur. They give us so much unconditional love and happiness. I can only hope these pets are reunited with their parents and the fires subside very soon.

Thanks so much for doing what you do. By giving these pets another chance instead of sending them to doggy haven before their old age. I have dogs and could not think what I would do if I could locate my dog because of disasters.

It's heartbreaking to find out how pets are treated! There seems to be less and less respect for animal's lives. (Same for humans) I've shed lots of tears over the years when my senior pets health began to fail and the end of their lives had arrived. I tried to keep them alive as long as possible with veggies, lots of water, probiotics, their pet food, and clean bedding. I've been feeding community cats (two steady ones) who come to my upstairs door for food and water for the past 7+ years. I wish people would be responsible for their pets and not leave them behind when they move!!! I get so irate with people! God bless all his creatures!

I took care of a stray cat. I couldn’t even afford dental work for myself. The cat was sick because it had to have some teeth pulled but they wanted over $2000. There was just no way to spend $2000 on a cat. I didn’t have it.

You are an incredible man and an inspiration to all of us. Thank you for all you do. It was so heartwarming to see someone care with such passion. My life revolves around the animals and I've adopted two dogs and one 9-year-old cat from the humane society. I believe in spay and neuter absolutely and that's where we fail as a society. Thank God out here in Florida doesn't cost you $700 to $900 for a spare neuter. I paid a decent price to have mine done

In the UK most vet practices are now owned by the Mars group. Profits go through various companies and out to Delaware. This is why vet bills are so huge. Pet insurance ads were all over for years. Check out your practice then look for one not owned by Mars. This guy must have angel wings. Brilliant work.

If pet care was not sooooo expensive, I would have a house full of dogs. I’ve had dogs since I was a very young child. I just put $6,000 on my credit card saving my fur baby from congestive heart problems. Retired on social security so not sure how to pay for this but trusting in the Lord to take care of me while I am taking care of my little one. 🥰

The Vet Schools are overwhelmed with students. Price should not be a problem. When the recession really gets going and the currency fails, it will be worse for pet owners, but the big corporations will suffer, too. At some point, only the healers will keep working at lower pay.

I can first hand vouch as a longtime volunteer whos daughter is a staff member at that the no kill shelter I volunteer at does not ever kill pets, nor does it transfer them out to any shelters who do, ever. We are a small, privately funded shelter in the northeast, and we do NOT, ever, euthanize any animal unless there is a terminal illness that cannot be treated and the dog is at the stage where there is no quality of life. Please do not say all shelters are lying when they say they are no kill. That is unfair. A large majority, yes, especially tax funded municipal shelters but all? That is an unfair statement.
