Another great video Tim! It's always fascinating to learn the unusual stories that gives Japan's mountains their names. I think my little part of southern Osaka, the villages surrounding the ryokan, are pretty strange. There are so many little stories linked by Kukai, En-no-Gyoja and Kusunoki Masashige. But what I find most surprising now is actually how many Myo-o Butsuzo there are in the area. Some of them I've only recently spotted despite wandering the same roads for a few years now.

Fudo Myo'o? Yeah, he's everywhere!! I'd love to hear some more of the stories!

Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it, and yeah, I wish I could teleport there too. The mountain's covered in snow now!

What other strange places do you know in Japan? This one was quite odd, but the story was still intriguing!
