Wow she described her life at the beginning exactly like everything I feel and go through right now . It’s good to hear I’m not the only one . Congratulations on your success.👏🙌

I hear ya. My take on it is, yes you want to get going but you also want to safeguard your brand. I know many folks are scared to make mistakes in the beginning that will hurt their brand because we all know first time impressions are super important!

Hi Cassiy!!!! this videos is like all of the previous videos, a great one!! Thank you!!! I think I am going to be the next successful Etsy shop owner, lol. my shop is over a year old, to be honest I havent' been successful yet, I thought that one of my Christmas sweatshirt from last year would become my first BESTSELLER cause was getting a lot of views and likes last month, but I had a do a refund the very very first sale and since that day I have not seen any more views in that product. I kept listing without much attraction, however on Monday I was doing some research and discover good potential in one niche so I am working in that niche and The Christmas now and my views/favorites are increasing even thug I had to turn off my add due to I was fired from my job this week. I am very positive that my store will do good this Q4!!! Thank you for everything you do Cassiy!!!

I appreciate the interviews and inspiration, thank you Cassidy. I may sign up for your course later this year for 2025. I have an Etsy print-on-demand (POD) store that I opened in August. I currently have 82 listings and have made seven sales. In addition to that, I also have another store that sells handmade items. I work full-time in marketing and design, and at 45, I am feeling burned out. I want to create my own legacy rather than constantly building everyone else's. I don't see many people my age doing this. Are there more mature men and women in your course who have had good success? I know that it shouldn't matter, but it would be nice to know that people in my demographic are also choosing an alternative path to financial freedom.

Yay!! Congratulations on your success! Extremely informative and we need that hard truths for motivation also, such as the majority of NEW sellers that are truly IN it with a real WHY still takes 6-9mo maybe longer to see sales or any consistency, BUT we can’t let that get us down to where we aren’t consistent. Etsy is ever changing and evolving (some good and some not so good changes) but either way to get in the algorithm and ranked we we to set time restraints and goals -each individual on how many listings -but don’t get stuck in the research cycle and “perfecting” every design (both my issues) instead be honest to yourself and be OK knowing your 1st 100 min designs especially if NO experience and if YT videos are your only option and all successful entrepreneurs even here on YT with only Etsy (maybe Shopify too) and other places. As long as we are listening getting that little bump in new listings. And don’t just leave them set when you have had a lot more time to research, correct , did some more deeper research/nice testing, so, again I won’t speak for others but these are always so motivated Ty and see you ladies next week😃

I’m thinking of joining the course. I started less than two weeks ago and list about 3 items per day. I’m trying to leave my career in media so I can stay at home as I enter wifehood and motherhood. It’s inspiring to here you’re still working 9-5 but listing good amount and cracking the criterion. Good tip about Gildan and Comfot Color’s as that’s where I’m at for both sweats and T-shirts. I’ve tried a couple of tank tops too recently 😊

to be honest I didn't take a lot from this video, don't get me wrong I like all Cassiy's vid but this one wasn't that useful. She should have explained to us at least one aspect of what she did right in details so we can have some take-home lessons ..(I am not saying she should spell out her secrets no that is not what I mean but at least one thing, e.g. how she does her listings, some tips and tricks of doing etsy ads (since she said she did them) ..keyword research with at least one broad niche that is still doable for newbies that were watching this vid... All she did was talking about how Cassiy's course helped her and I am sure that was not Cassiy's intention from this video.. I like Cassiy and I am a loyal subsc of her channel but thumps DOWN to her host of today, not to be negative but that is my 2 cents

Also, I am wondering if it is too late to start populating your store with Christmas products? I meant to do it this summer and I have been struggling to keep up with daily life .. I have a big list of products that are either in drafts or in idea mode - if I had actually published them I would have well over 100 listings. If I get into gear now and get them up by early September, is that still early enough to get in on Q4?
@CassiyJohnson3 ай бұрын
Yes still tons of time to get listings up, I keep listing for Christmas all the way up until end of November! Try not to overthink it, just get started today and start getting some stuff up, then whatever sells, make more designs for those niches! You've got this
@danimotherofchickens4793 ай бұрын
Christmas is SO saturated as is halloween, so I feel your gonna do it to be seen your gonna need to down neiche and find certain off sets of searches besides the main one to design for

So, I’ve been on Etsy for one year now and I really don’t understand how to strategize on using Etsy adds. Currently I have 50 listings paying for ads at $50 per day. I add all my new listings to ad spending to boost. Although my ad spending is set at $50 it usually adds up between $20-25 spent in clicks. I don’t think I’ve the correct approach with this and would certainly appreciate any advice. For some reason I haven’t the confidence to do custom or group listenings which I would love to do. I currently have 350 listings and work at it everyday. Help is appreciated.

The average person is not going to be able to conjure up 100 designs for their niche in a reasonable time. If that is the standard, I’m screwed. I’ve been working on the same dozen designs for a month now and my store isn’t live yet.

30% take-home doesn't seem right. Generally, a business owner gets 50% of profits. Unfortunately, that's not inspiring to me to give 70% of my hard work away.
@reneinatlanta13753 ай бұрын
But normally the owner has to invest upfront and take significant risk.
