Sawblaze upgrading from a Saw to Hammer-Saw has to be one of the biggest upgrades in BB history. It went from a weapon that did negligible damage to absolutely reck bots in 1-hit.

i think that title goes to huge, because it was a troll-bot that turned into one of the hardest to defeat bots. they literally made some nonsense, but then they realized that those wheels are actually really durable and then they started upgrading and turned it into top-tier bot. while Jamison in other hand, has always been very competitive builder and driver. he has won many different series before, including NHRL. he uses common sense to adjust and upgrade as needed.

Minotaur with its size, it is really a great bot and the driver's skill is superb. When i first see Huge, i thought its wheel will be tear off in seconds. The design is really original, unique and creative.

huge used to be a troll-bot without a weapon, but they been upgrading a lot. i think i've seen huge being ripped into pieces only once. think it was carbide?

Huge reminds me of the UK Robotwars bot Gabriel. that starte a bit of a joke but we lost robot wars too early so it didn't get the chance to fully develop in the way Huge has.

They all have a gentlman agreement not to do undue damage if the other bot is immobilized, otherwise the costs involved would be astronomical. People weren't happy with the driver of Riptide for breaking that against Captain Shredderator and causing thousands of dollars of excess damages.

Sawblade is a great design the weapon is no where as powerful as something like Tombstone, but its pikes and engine power gives it great control and main weapon can fix a flip.

razer from the old robot wars was great, and it looked fantastic but dont forget that goofy looking pussycat bot beat it twice. I would hate to see razer get shattered across a battlebox by todays modern generation of spinners though

I dont wanna be a killjoy here But i think Sawblaze got lucky in Season 7 because Witch Doctor and End Game got eliminated early Those 2 vertical bots are the Kryptonite of Sawblaze

Huge beat both Witch Doctor and the bot that beat Endgame. Both failed to adapt to bits that countered them while SawBlaze was the only bot the entire season able to do any damage to Huge. Yes Endgame beat SawBlaze in the golden bolt tournament but neither bit took any substantial damage in that battle and just poked at eachother the whole time. A pathetic fight if you ask me. SawBlaze was the only bot this season capable of beating the genius design of Huge, imo a very well deserved win.

At the end of the fight, not sure if Huge was hanging back in that corner defensively because the primary weapon was disabled, or, if Huge lost mobility/control in one wheel. It was clearly moving (rocking), but it did not move anywhere, just passively took hits.

One thing I always wondered regarding the points, lets take damage as an example, which is worth 5 points, can the judges split those into 2 and 3 for both bots, or do they have to give the full points to one of the contestants?

The match against Huge is a huge mystery to me. Why didn't they go for the wheels? There's absolutely no way the wheels could take the hammer saw and there were so many opportunities.

I think the Sawblaze's attachment make weapon arm reach become shorter. Besides that, the wheels are too flexible

The wheels are made of a type of floppy plastic that absorbs impacts really well. Also going for the wheels allows huge to spin their huge blade to full speed and turn quickly into their opponent. It's a strategy huge had been using to great success and Jamison Go knew this. He knew the most effective way to beat huge would be to slow the blade to a standstill with an attachment that cd absorb it's impacts and then get in close and attack the body to do some real damage.

Those wheels are from a flexible but very tough material. it has been tried before without success. Huge's weakness lies in the weapon belts. Sawblaze snapped a pair on side and changed Huge's hitting force to win the battle.

Well the fight is still very close, if all 3 juges score 8 over 7 in favor of Sawblaze, it is a unanimous decision despite it being very close. Unanimous doesn't necessarily mean a crushing victory

Well, even when all judges gave a 6 to 5 in favor of Sawblaze, it´s still unanimous, even when all three decided it to be close. I´m more surprised that they didn´t check how the others judged, and changed theirs just to have a more dramatic end^^
