I know you will never read this Trevor but honestly you and your content mean so much to me. I remember last year in social studies class my best friend and I watching your videos and saying “dude we got to get good at this game.” 2k games later we’re far from the best but still pretty good. We love geoguessr so much and play whenever we can and it’s all thanks to you. Hell, I even made a video of me doing 0.1second adw with Winter 1 and submitted that as my campaign video for student government and the video erupted around campus and I won the position. A couple of years ago when I first discovered GeoWizard, I was so impressed that what he was doing in GeoGuessr was even possible and thought it couldn’t get much better, fast forward a to last year when I see this handsome lad pinpointing locations because of the “Polish trees” or “Darwin grass” with some sick Vivladi in the back and I was left speechless, insane to see the hard work all of the community has done to take this game to its current state, and continue to facilitate learning the game with so many resources to help even noobies.

Once I started seeing your TikToks and videos, I think that was the first time I really got back into the game. You've inspired so many people to get back into the game and actually try and practice with it

I first found out about Geoguessr in around 2013, around the first boom in popularity. I remember trying it at the time, thinking it would be cool to try and deduce your location in the world based off a picture. However, the moving aspect of the game really killed it for me, and the community was so new at the time that I couldn't envision any other way of playing the game reliably. I never really gave Geoguessr much thought after that. Even when browsing google maps was a passion of mine in high school a few years later. I used to love browsing Mediterranean cities principally to enjoy the architecture. However, that all changed when I discovered you. I can definitively say that you and you alone sparked my interest in Geoguessr. And now I am definitely hooked. Not only that, I am also much more keen in learning Geography in general now, as Geoguessr also provides me with an avenue to reinforce what I learn in my games. That all started with watching your videos man. You definitely did make geography seem cool. I probably will never be anywhere near a top player, as I don't care about getting to that level. I just love the pattern recognition and memorisation involved in this game. It is genuinely a quest for me now to try and learn as much as I possibly can about all the countries of the world.
