There’s absolutely reverb, delay and panning. Just like it would be used on any produced track. That doesn’t detract from the impressiveness.. just adds to the musicality. 🔥🔥🔥
@PrymalChaos11 ай бұрын
Yeah it’s obvious in this case, but I make a point to choose my words carefully because in the past I’ve mentioned obvious things and two years later I still get comments like “nah bro- he doesn’t use delays! He plays every note! “ Some people don’t like to believe that their heroes aren’t super human. It’s kind of like how there is this irrational fear of backing tracks in live metal performances. Everyone wants a modern show synched to huge video panels and intricate sequences light shows, and all of the cool 80 piece orchestra and choral parts included, but god help you if you have the audacity to use a click track and live backings. This dude is super human, and the production is also world class. I had a blast watching this one! 😀

@@PrymalChaos His gbb2024 wildcard covers the song Creeping again, and the only effect he is probably using is compression (maybe), shot on a iphone camera relying on the natural reverb of the room. And it sounds even better than the previous cover with effects (reverb, panning, compression and delay). Also, there are pretty much the four effects he touches, no autotune, pitching or anything else, no comping or 'mouth'-sync either. He is a genuine transparent guy, but also mad talented and powerful.

Fascinating performance, from what i gathered unless its a competition entry anything goes there is no limit on how much production engineering mix or adding other instruments (wind or strings) as long as the sound originates from a human. Beatbox Looping is basically all the above with addition of multiple tracks/loops of human beatbox sounds to build a track with even more complexity filters and effects to distort the original beatbox samples. A good song is a good song imho
@petttybettty11 ай бұрын
You pretty much nail it. He has a video of him and Improver beatbox in the corner of a parking garage, moving to and from camera to manipulate who is heard more prominently. Using the pole in the garage when they want to muffle sounds. Its a video entry to a contest where post production isnt allowed. The contest folks have people who know what technology to use to check

1) Answering your "tAras" vs "tarAs" question. Correct spelling is "tarAs". 2) In one of his live streams he had said that preparing some of his videos was taking up to 6 months. So, it's possible that this exact song took 6 months to produce and was swabbed down to this level. Knowing Taras (I don't know him personally), this video may be originally called "The Hills cover, version 26".

The corresponding intelligence, ability to explain what You are doing and what has to be done to progress - even with the teacher, You sooner or later will need that. 2. I wouldn’t be surprised. Ren is known for making elaborate live performances for his music videos rather than using the studio track. The lip sync here seemed perfect to me. I suppose he could be just reproducing his studio performance for the camera, but who knows. He seems talented enough to do this live and then play with the reverbs, panning and FX in post. I can’t say for sure though. I’m new to this whole genre. I’d love to see him perform this somewhere on location to see how he adapts to environments and production differences.
