This video is on 'how tides are formed in sea & oceans'. We will read about low tide, high tide, neap tide and spring tide. In a nutshell you will learn about the mechanism of tides and how they occur on earth due to the gravitational pull of the moon and the sun.

@Science Revolution There is so much distance between the Moon and the Earth, so there is not enough gravity to pull water into space and he told the bigger the celestial objects the more the gravitational pull and earth is bigger than the Moon so the Earth pulls the water with much more power than the Moon so it stays on Earth ( and I am a 13 year old )

@@abhasingh4726 The ultimate unification and understanding of physics/physical experience combines, BALANCES, AND INCLUDES opposites, AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY manifest as F=ma ON BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. Here's the proof. This also explains why objects (including WHAT IS THE FALLING MAN) fall at the SAME RATE (neglecting air resistance, of course), AS E=MC2 IS CLEARLY F=MA ON BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. TIME dilation ULTIMATELY proves (ON BALANCE) that E=MC2 IS clearly and necessarily F=ma ON BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. Gravity is ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy ON BALANCE. ON THE CLEAR, EXTENSIVE, SENSIBLE, BALANCED, THEORETICAL, AND UNIVERSAL PROOF THAT ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity, AS E=MC2 IS clearly PROVEN TO BE F=MA ON BALANCE: Balanced inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is fundamental, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. Energy has/involves GRAVITY, AND ENERGY has/involves inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE; AS gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy are linked AND BALANCED opposites; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity; AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY proven to be F=ma ON BALANCE. This NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, AND DESCRIBES what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. Indeed, A PHOTON may be placed at the center of what is THE SUN (as A POINT, of course); AS the reduction of SPACE is offset by (or BALANCED with) the speed of light (c); AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity ON BALANCE; AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY F=ma IN BALANCE !!! Gravity is ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy ON BALANCE, AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY proven to be F=ma IN BALANCE. TIME dilation ULTIMATELY proves (ON BALANCE) that ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity, AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY F=ma ON BALANCE. Gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity; AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY F=ma ON BALANCE; AS the stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. Accordingly, ON BALANCE, the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches it's revolution. TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity; AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY F=ma ON BALANCE. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. Accordingly, ON BALANCE, it makes perfect sense that THE PLANETS (including WHAT IS THE EARTH) will move away very, very, very slightly in relation to what is THE SUN !!! ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity, AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY F=ma ON BALANCE. Inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is proportional to (or BALANCED with/as) GRAVITATIONAL force/ENERGY, as this balances gravity AND inertia; AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY F=ma ON BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. GREAT. I have explained the cosmological redshift AND the supergiant stars. Stellar clustering ALSO proves ON BALANCE that ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity, AS E=MC2 is CLEARLY F=ma IN BALANCE !!! Can Sun create tides on Earth solely without the moon ?
@wavydaveyparker
@wavydaveyparker 3 жыл бұрын
Yes Vinu, in exactly the same way the Moon creates the daily tides... of course they would be smaller, because the Sun is much further away! And that is because our daily ‘tides’ are due to ‘orbital’ motion and have nothing to do with ‘straight’ line motion. Does that help?

The high tide on the other side of the moon is not because of centrifugal force. It is formed by the difference in moons pull on the earth and water on the far side.
@wavydaveyparker
@wavydaveyparker 3 жыл бұрын
That’s as maybe, but centrifugal force is definitely the cause behind a Planet or Moon remaining in orbital motion. You obviously haven’t grasped the simple concept of inertia and the existence of the barycentre. The changing direction of the forward velocity vector of an object with inertia, is balanced against the gravitational attraction between the objects. By advocating and ignoring the effect of either, you are needlessly sending the Earth on an unavoidable collision course with the Moon! And no amount of intervention by a fictitious ‘super’ being, can prevent that inevitable conclusion.
@aakashdhruv1997
@aakashdhruv1997 3 жыл бұрын
@@wavydaveyparker you correctly explained how moons orbit around earth remains stable but my explanation was for waves. Honestly i personally feel that the centrifugal force on the far side of earth from the moon due to earth- moon rotation around the barycentre could be a reason for high tides but gravitational difference is a more accepted theory hence it was the one i quoted.
@aakashdhruv1997
@aakashdhruv1997 3 жыл бұрын
@@wavydaveyparker the rotation of the earth however can in no was cause high tide on the far side. You can take the example of a point lying perpendicular to the earth moon axis, if the centrifugal force was the cause of high tide this point would experience a higher tide than the far side of earth from the moon because the moons gravity is acting parallel to the earths surface and pose no(almost) opposite force to the centrifugal force. So the correct explanation of tides on the far side would be either centrifugal force due to rotation around the barycenter or the differential pull of the moon on earth and the water on the far side. Hope your imagination runs well.
@wavydaveyparker
@wavydaveyparker 3 жыл бұрын
@@aakashdhruv1997 You are absolutely correct Aakashdruv! And unfortunately that is the only error in this video. The centrifugal force caused by the Earth’s rotational ‘spin’ on its axis, has nothing whatsoever to do with tidal formation. Although it does have the ability to make us fill ever so slightly lighter at the equator? However, the point I’m trying to make and was attempting to do in my only video, is to demonstrate that the centrifugal force, caused by the Earth’s orbital motion around the barycentre, must be taken into account, because without it the Earth-Moon system would inevitably fall into a state of collapse. We can undoubtedly attribute the build up of underlying pressure in the water column to the increased Inertial forces or the ‘tidal’ force, due to the gravitational differential later, as either will provide us with the exact same results. The one thing we should never ever do is say that the Earth’s tides are caused by it moving directly ‘towards’ the Moon, filling up bulges and leaving water behind. And when questioned on this ridiculous notion, turn around and say, that centrifugal force actually doesn’t exist. Take care, your certainly on the right track and I applaud your willingness to think about the problem, if you’re interested, I could put you in touch with someone who really knows there stuff, when it comes to tides?
