How To: 15 Ways To Wear a Headscarf

Hi lovelies!!! Read for Measurement Info
For all of the headwrap/ headscarf lovers here's my take on some styles that will save you on bad hair days and that are all in all fun hairstyle alternatives!
Hope you enjoy, let me know your favorite style!!!
P.s. on a normal day I would wear a silk headscarf or shower cap underneath any of these wraps to protect my hair! Just left it out in the video to save time x

Focus on learning one method at a time. Do the same method with different types of fabrics and different sizes. Experience tells you what will work well for each one. Practice makes perfect and even the most experienced people sometimes have to redo it several times, so don't feel bad! Pretty soon it will become second nature!

Thank you for this, I've been suffering from hair loss and scalp damage (I was very sick a year ago and as a result I lost so much of my hair I ended up just shaving my head) so I've been hiding under a beanie for a while now. Loved the ones where your entire head was covered, I took one where it wasn't and modified it but would have never thought to do it that way had it not been for your video. I admire and love these looks, and I'm sorry that I'm ignorant of knowing the answer to this question: is it inappropriate, or even racist, for me to wear some of these styles? I would never want to offend anyone. Woman of african descent who wear scarves for non religious reason wear them as a form of self expression, a way to celebrate ourselves with accessories. Everyone is definetly welcome to join us to celebate themselves in this way. *Cultural appropriation is when someone from dominant culture takes something from a marginalised culture & claims it as their own all while people of marginalised culture continue to be marginalised for simply expressing themselves in their cultural ways* Cultural apropriation is usually backed by systemic power. For instance any random person who wears braids is not culturally apropriating. However when media hyped the Kardations for "creating the new trend" called "boxer" braids, and every white girl and their mamas were suddenly on the bandwagon, that's cultural apropriation. Becoz they took something traditionally worn by black ppl and made Kardashians the face of it. This erased the generations of black women that inveted, kept alive this elaborate ways of styling their hair. It erased a generation of women who turned to youtube to teach other women how to take care of their kinky,curled &coiled afros. It erased the fact that we(black girls) learn to style each others hair at the same time as we learn to read. Also for us, doing our hair in different styles is a mandatory part of haircare. It's not simply a trend. It's a way of life. I hope the above further explained the consept of cultural appropriation.

I don't think it will be a problem for you to incorporate wearing a turban into your everyday lifestyle. Girl, you really saved my life with your video....I was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and had to face the longest and strongest chemo there is for breast cancer. OMG, you are the genie of head wraps. It helps that you are so adorable, but you are so talented. I have been on low dose chemo for Systemic Lupus for the past 4 years, and my hear is now leaving my scalp. I do not like wearing wigs, and when I had this problem earlier in life, I wore scarfs rather than wigs. I love head coverings, and think I must have been a nun or something in my past life. LOL. I came along with the African head wraps, but use those mainly for dress up, as they are too large for everyday wear. I had been using baseball caps and newsboy caps for the past 2 years, and now wanted to use something more feminine and switched to hajibs. However, they are not as good as wearing a scarf on your head, leaving your neck free. Thank you so much for your presentation, and the music is dope.
