It's like watching someone work literal magic. You just kind of move your hands around and your hair does things. My hair does nothing, because it's fine and slick. All of you coarse haired, dry scalped people have no idea how real the struggle is.

Sorry the last 2 hairstyles are just no. Especially 2 ponytails, people would suspect that child's mother is an alcoholic. Do something simple and slick, if you don't have time for your hair, wich I don't believe by the way. You had time to do the video, so it's just a matter of habit to keep yourself look decent

Great ideas!!! I need to try the two ponytails:) I'm a dental hygienist, so I have to have my hair back . And I don't have time in the morning. And I enjoy easy hair even when I have time. Would rather spend time on makeup:)

If you do, try and make sure the highest ponytail is bigger then the bottem tail (so grab more hair at the top then at the bottem) And also use a bigger elastic on the top tail, smaller, as small and thinn as posible on the bottem one. Another tip to make it look more like one big one is comb the part of the tails that is just behind the elastic in the oposit direction to give it more body, make it more 'poef', bigger so it will fall over the other tail more, and do the same with the bottem tail so it'll 'push' up the top tail and just makes it all a bit more big and gives a simple hairdo that little bit extra!

True that does happen most of the time. But you can prevent that by making the bottem one smaller and use very thin tiny elastic on that one. Also make sure to not only use texture and hairspray but also brush the part of the hair that is going to split, in the opposit direction so it's more big, firm and too tangled to fall into parts over the bottem tail. Smooth hair is basically your ennemy with this (and many other) hairdo's.

Look #2? I wore my hair like that in the 5th grade when I was 10 years old! A lot. Because as you pointed out - it's a quick & easy hairstyle. Funny thing is...that was exactly 50 years ago. Half of a century. I guess fashion and style is cyclical in nature.

This showed up in my recommendation. Though for them ladies who need to rush out and not look like a total reckless, inexperience, rookie careless imaged mother. I’ve got one for you. See the second one where she puts it in a low ponytail then pulls it through? Well do that in 5 mini pony tails across the middle. Start with one and pull it through, then grab the end of that and make the second ponytail and pull that through- repeat till you reach the bottom. Once at the bottom and last ponytail you either can scoop it up and place it like she did, or you can quickly do a fishtail braid, push a beaded Bobby pin on the center of every mini ponytail and tie the fish tail with a peal beaded hair tie. It looks very elegant. Another useful one is split a side part on your head, tie a low, side ponytail and bring it through that loop and pull it nice n tight, add some pearl or rhinestone pins on it to give it an elegant touch. Now grab the hair left on that ponytail and spray it with HS and quickly roll it on a soft pink roller. Now add a bit more HS on that roller and all over your hair and leave it till you’re ready to walk out that door. You’ll have beautiful curls on a twisted side ponytail... very chic. One more, part your hair straight in the middle and pull your hair in a low pony tail. Now take an old sock if you don’t have a scrunchie and cut the toe part across. Use a sock that’s similar to your hair color- now roll the sock and you should end up with a sock donut. Now take that sock donut push it through your pony and secure it with 3-4 Bobby pins. Now bend your head down and the sock donut should be testing at the base of your pony (between your head and your ponytail. Now let your ponytail hair go over your hair like glazing that donut. Secure it by taking a rubber band or hair band over that glazed hair donut. Now take the extra hair that hanging and wrap it around between the glazed donut and your head. Secure it with a pin. Now take a ribbon or pearl or rhinestone band and loosely wrap it over the wedged poring between your head and that donut. You will look like a pro and very well maintained busy sexy boss mommy. Remember clean eyebrows and a little smudged pencil liner on the top n bottom eyelash line and curled lashes and penciled lips n gloss make you look more hot than an unemployed clown. ;) asta la vista baby!

I was thinking the same thing. I get the idea she was going for and when done right it can be pretty and create the illusion you want. - she made the lower ponytail bigger /fuller then the highter ponytail which is 'mistake' 1. (Also btw, if you have lots of layers this is harder to do be because the toptail will always be thinner then the bottem tail). Mistake 3 was making the tails too far away from each other; I know she said place them close together but she herself didn't do that in this video. And 3, it's better to use a very thinn and small elastic for the bottem tail and a big, almost eye-catchy one for the top tail so the eye and attention is brought to the top while the lower tail is coverd even more and therefor making it more one whole tail.

Thank yoy fir mentioning this. There are so many things always mentioning how moms are bussy etc. And ofcourse they are! But for once I just wished video's and articles had the headline; When having limited time in the morning" or something like that instead of ALWAYS saying moms. Nothing against this video or moms!! I hope to be lucky enough to become one, one day 💕. But I just feel like we all focus so much on how moms this and moms that, that is almost looks like moms are the only people/woman who have little time. Your comment as example for isntance; With Fybro it's very difficult to do something like this. Often just keeping your arms&hands above shoulders is too difficult to hold for a short time (talking seconds here) (I personally can hold them for 20 second), not even talking about using my fingers. I know it might sound silly but to me it'd mean a lot if it were more inslusive

I have always struggled with fine, thin hair. It has only gotten worse since having babies. I have tried everything to try to grow thicker hair. Nothing worked! So I decided to try extensions. These work very well for what I need. They clip in & stay on my hair easily all day. I would definitely recommend these to anyone! They are easy to work with. I use them almost everyday. I find they shed minimally, are easy to take in and out. Easy to keep clean and in their first day condition if you also buy the zala protect me bag and hanger ;)

Katarina S. As an older woman, 50years old, I think this is a great tutorial. I just think the lower ponytail and bun options are better as the higher up styles can be a bit harsh looking. Also older ladies hair looks better a tad shorter maybe not longer than shoulder length. Make a deep side parting with hair softly flowing over forehead, and tie hair up in low ponytail. Cover elastic band with small silk scarf loosely or wrapped around for a very simple chic look and wear simple style in flattering one solid neutral colors and a pretty handbag not too big and not very small either. Simple but modern shoes to finish off the look.

Yeh! Such a modern mum rocking a low hair bun but if you have been rocking a bun for over 4yrs all day every day, it gets really boring! I've tried shifting the bun up higher & higher (to change the look) or leave it in just a pony tail (until I can't leave it out no more bc it looks ridiculously long + dnt want Ma-inlaw to complain about hair shedding (like as if I'm the only person with hair)That's it... Exactly. Brushing takes less time than moving fingers through the hair again and again. Also "It can be done on dirty hair because who has time to wash the hair? Not me" WHAT? Styling and spraying on DIRTY hair? If you don't have time, don't do styling, do nothing, but be clean, hair included

@@marinaalex0510 exactly, it would take the same time to wash her hair and it only takes a minute to brush it. Need to take care of your hair not tie it in a dirty bun because she'd rather be putting makeup on.

Absolutely LOVE this video. I am long past the time of being the mom of small kide (although the lessons never leave you!) but I am the wife of a quadriplegic husband. He would hate to know I see him in any way as similar to children, but the time pressure is the same! Some days, he needs me close at hand more than others. I pretty much have to maintain that "ready!" pose in my mind and my body. Sure, I could cut my hair, but my love likes my hair long, and it is in most cases a simple request to oblige. I have fine hair, and it's always been a challenge, but now, especially, I am challenged! Your quick tutorial gave me so many options from which to choose, and even though your hair is MUCH thicker, and better than mine, I learned several great ways to do my hair quickly that I had never thought of. Thank you!!

I just received the most shiteous haircut last weekend and the stylist went nuts cutting all these layers, which I never asked for. He also cut about 7" instead of the 5" I had asked for. It almost looks chopped and is very uneven. I had very long hair, which is extra thick. Don't know if these styles will work for me. Every time I try putting it up, all these different uneven pieces keep coming out! I have a wedding to attend today too and do not know what I'm going to do! I'm so mad at the stylist!!

Well this works for straight hair. Mine is so curly it can’t be combed, only way it looks normal is to spray it with warm water in AM and add leave in conditioner, otherwise a messy bush, but I often put it up in a bun and it looks decent. And I often do pony tails in the back. Then my curls hang down...if enough conditioner added. My hair is SO THICK! And very unruly.

My hair is most accurately described as “Homeless Chic” (minus the “chic”, mind you)!! I would kill for hair that needs NOTHING done...like the lady doing this video.🤔 My hair is thin so when I put it in a ponytail, the “girth” is like equivalent to that of my thumb. And I have wavy hair, not straight, meaning I cannot get out of the shower & simply let it be (The Beatles clearly didn’t know my struggle), nor curly (so there’s no volume, but rather, just enough wave to make a flaccid, frizzy mess). Basically it either needs completely straightened via flat iron or I have to do it curly, which means a mixture of mousse, for volume, then gel, for curl & stiffness. Keep in mind the gel and mousse have to be watered down because my hair is so thin it can’t take the weight of, you know, product that is made for normal hair, when I have this mane of wispy rat’s nest. Basically , it’s way too much work either way so I’m forced to push around a grocery cart all day & play up the homelessness my natural hair doth demand!! 🤣🤣 Anyway, to end this impromptu soliloquy, I can appreciate some of the style suggestions, however, was anyone else NOT FOOLED, by the double ponytail, into thinking it was one? I was getting some serious neon-spandex, leg warmer, scrunchy, 80’s, multi-pony vibes, yo. Lol

First style. I do that but run the hair through the opposite way and it usually just stays. If my hair is grown out a bit then I'll pin it.

That's exactly me! If I dnt end up waking up earlier than them (my face) I only can apply blusher for colour, apply lip liner to the whole lip(if not lipstick) & liner to the eyes &curl eye lashes. That's it(plus, that's in the car whilst partner driving,of cause) My hair (?)since my 1st birth all the way till now (she's now 4yrs & another birth after her 1st birthday) has all day every day been living in a bun. I sleep in my hair bun.Sad? I know ay! Tell me about it... My hair is soooo long, I dnt have the time to spend 1/2hr in the shower washing my hair everyday (& that's not even having to comb out my hair which takes almost 2hrs b4 I can jump in) + wait till it dry. By night, I still can't bc I live with inlaw's & since my mother in law complained about my long shower (to the extent of banging on my bath room door whilst I'm inside) reason for was bc has this thing with afraid (any1) I may have fallen over & knocked out in the shower(what the?)bc who showers that long she says(?) I do! Especially When I got to wash my hair & thats mb once every 2wks (?) I never plan. So dnt really knw. Thank you so much for giving me other ideas on how todo my hair (if possible to do bc my hair is ridiculously long. Basically to the floor by now!LOL.... I'm serious! No joke! ) if not, I'll save it in my watch later list for my short bob hair cut I've been holding off since my 1st birth. I knw... Delayed hard core LOL...

Sara G haha, I feel the same, but my oldest is 45. When you think back over the years you’re amazed how much easier things are now but no one under the age of 30even realizes it. I mean just the simple thing of watching tv is better now. Invariably my kids would want me to drive them somewhere right in the middle of a good movie or tv show. Now days it’s no big deal. You can pause it, record it and even watch it on line. Your kids have phones, no more getting so worried when they are late coming home. You can call them or even track them with their phone. You can have food delivered anytime you want. All we had was pizza or Asian food if we wanted delivery. I could go on and on except I realize I’m probably the only one that will read this ( when I look for big mistakes before I send it) lol Our kids did have pagers though. My mom use to say “boy I wish you could’ve had pagers when I was raising kids. You can get in touch with them anytime you want”. As if there was never a kid that didn’t respond to your page every time. 😏

If you haven't time for hairstyles don't use color! This hair coloring is ugly, no matter what the style. Organise your family and you will have time to wash your hair in peace rather than coming up with manic videos. My friend had eleven children and she and the family were well groomed all day every day. She had no domestic helpers or child carers, she and her husband managed perfectly and he had an 8am - 5pm job.

Kelly, I loved your comment b/c I feel the same way. My hair is getting sooo long though and it’s harder to manage in just a plain messy bun, especially with thicker hair. What caught my attention was your last sentence about depressed women. I’ve been living with that and anxiety for about half of my life now. Sometimes it’s just so hard to get motivated to go and do anything and looking good makes that even more difficult. So what you said makes perfect sense. I appreciate your honesty!
