Kids today are lucky having youtube to help you progress. In the late 80s/early 90s all we had was magazines and vhs. Last trick I learned was a 360 flip back in 91. Fun times. That was a hard trick back then on those big decks

one of my most favourite tricks
@hanspeterpitsch21 күн бұрын
The way I learned them was I would put my backfoot pretty much on the back edge of the tail, and instead of scooping I kind of thought of it like popping straight down. To keep the board from flipping I'd make sure to keep my front foot flat over the board all the way, sometimes to the point of even making contact while it was spinning. I never got them consistently though, but when I did land them they felt amazing. I might try this method or at least parts of it to get them more consistent.

Some tips from the video (personal) 1. Weight on back foot, less flat foot. More on toes 2. Torso is square, slightly towards direction youre going. Lean over toe side, not too much 3. Ankle bends and SCOOPS towards front of board
