try to be safe man. when doing a job like this use a PROPER jack and high rated jack stands to secure the vehicle up. the oem jack was designed to be used in a pinch and not to maintain the weight of the vehicle or is stable enough for any movement. yes it takes longer but I'd hate to stop seeing your videos because you didn't take the proper safety precautions. keep the videos up

Something I noticed is that you used the standard "diamond" jack to lift the car, make sure you used an axle stand or something because they are renowned to tip over, great car and video anyway

straight pipe increases power on a turbo car. allowing the exhaust gasses to pass freely through the exhaust system and spool up the turbo quicker. on a naturally aspirated car you end up loosing compression as there is less resistance on the upstroke.

The right way would have been cut the muffler on both sides and add a straight section of pipe with a clamp on both sides. It would have sounded the same and not have been hacked out. Just saying. Also use jack stands next time. Never trust a jack bub

u shoulda cut the other side of the muffler and just stick a straight pipe in place of the muffler (2 clamps and a solid pipe) thats all .. stillnretaining your stock tailpipe location

I'm 6ft and fit in all Miatas. I own an Nb (99) and fit fine, I did the foamectomy to the seat and now have about 1-2" above my head to the soft top. Not sure about hard tops though

The stock tip has no hangars on it .. The hangars are on the muffler. If I chop the muffler and connect the stock tip, it will just flop to the ground.

You didn't need the pipe on the end. You don't jack up your car with a scissor jack and crawl under it and especially when your going to shake the whole car with a saw. Always use jack stands. This is hilarious because cherry bombs are used in more expensive kits as well. Pypes m80, SLP lm2, some straight through magnaflows. All the cherry bomb is, is a pipe with fiberglass backing, and tons of the known muffler manufacturers use them to let the engine sound come through, while letting the fiberglass packing tone it down so it isnt raspy and loud. Im sure youve heard some cars be obnoxious with cherry bombs, but every engine sounds different and your mileage may vary.

false. the pre cat and the main cat restrict the most air flow. but if you have an open header and all straight pipe you will have no back sure. imagine yourself lifting weights or taking a shit. you have to hold your breath to use your energy. same thing with a car. the best street exhaust setup is to get a highflow pre cat ,main cat and a high quality catback.

The exhaust is held up on hangers.. The hangers are on the muffler, the end exhaust piece has no hangers on it so if I did remover the muffler and connect straight to the end piece it would just flip to the floor with no supports holding it.
